@iKickPilllows since you probably wont get an answer from anyone else ill tell you what to do. your probably not pressing down hard enough. make sure your fingers are touching the fretboard and not just sitting on the strings(thats called muting)

Yup and you can even omit the g string, 5th fret... if it makes the chord too difficult for ya. With or without sounds pretty much the same. All you are doing is switching that string from matching with the A string to matching with the E string...

you don't really have to bar the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string in the first chord. You could leave the 4th string un-barred and you'll still get the same chord pretty much. It's easier because you can easily switch to the Gm.
