1965 impala

I have a complete 65 impala 327 ss with very very few missing parts and needs the usual restoration: minor body work, replace floor pans, paint, interior redone, rebuild engine and tranny. How much do you think it would cost for me to restore it to a respectable clean condition? I have a budget around 10,000-12,000$, is that enough?

Any advice or opinions are great, thanks!

Oh yeah what about the twin antennas at the back that's hot as shit, I think it's a custom mod because it wasn't a specific trim model feature but I might be wrong, I definitely will set mine up with twins though.

depends where youre at cause of how available they are. in california, you can get a set brand new in the box for 350 bucks, roadster or crown wire wheel brand and thats average price for brand new ones. if you go with any other type of rims like the zeniths i bought for show, those are 1800 bucks. both sets look the same, just the logo on the spinner cap lets you know i paid to get the expensive ones. look up 100 spoke rims on ebay

yea it might not nearly as nice as the stock steering wheel, but the angle im going with this car is old school 70s look. going to put in the rabbit ears and color bar and direct bolt on wires

You might have more power, but you can't use it in the States as you have the speed limits. And your Sheriffs wait to catch you... And our European cars require only a little bit of benzin compared to this one. But I admit, the car looks nice. But I prefer between 6 - 8l per 100km, yours will drink more than 20l, isn't it like that?
