Streisand has had PLENTY of vocal coaching. She doesn't talk about it because of a diva-ish tendency to discount or conceal the names of those who helped her succeed. It's one of her least attractive qualities, especially since few performers received so much support and assistance from the greats and the experts in the show business.

I know of at least two vocal coaches who have worked with her. No singer, let alone a singer this important, should go long without coaching.

@BELTERFAN After seeing videos of her concert 3 or 4 years ago, I would agree--she seemed to have finally, sadly, lost her voice. But last year's CD and subsequent TV appearances, she sounds great., though, admittedly, has lost the higher notes.But, dude, she is 68! Name any other singer who at the same age sounds as good. She's doing fine.....

@eldiran2 One of the good things about Barbra's voice is that se has a wonderful color and a beautiful quality in it and she definitely hasn't lost them, she still can belt though not that high and that loud. There are a very few singers with that quality in that age: Shirley Bassey, Barbara Cook, Mina Mazzinni, Patti LuPone and... well surely there are a few ones. This month Barbra begins to record her new album, fingers crossed for her voice!

This is a cute Barbra song! One of Streisand earlier funnier songs. Thanks for posting. Streisand is the queen. I wish Streisand would do more funny comedic songs. Barbra's next album should be an album of funny songs. It should be titled The Comedy album. Since we already have the Christmas,Broadway, and Movie album! :)

so oblidged, I have not seen Barbra on stage since her big entrance on Stage at Basin Street East a certain May 26th. Unlike others before her, Barbra's dress was of pink and white' as that of Spring promises. The orchestra leader gave her vocal instrument the full space. The next day in the 'Lion's Den review I was cited as having been at her opening. Barbra is a deep well of colors. merci beaucoup!
