Yes but don't go to any of the National Trust sites because they will demand ownership of your photos, including images of the sky overhead which they claim is their copyright because it's over National Trust land.
Becoming a bit of a problem this, especially as they've taken to sending threatening letters to people.

Oh you people. Don't be fooled by the media. They want you to think it's meteorites. The real truth is there are barriers in the stars that prevent Jinns from trying to get close to Heaven. The Jinns are 9 x bigger than the Human population. They have really fast speed and they can also fly. When they try to get close to heaven they get flames thrown at them, as a result shooting far back. This is actually an assault of the Jinns trying to infiltrate Heaven. Star Wars eh!!!

Went to see it up by loch lomond. Typical weather, it clouded over! I saw a few meteors but it wasn't really a 'shower'

I watched from 11 to 1am . Saw quite a lot of shooting stars/meteors. It was pretty awesome ! Never seen so many! Some slow , some really fast. lots all over the sky !
