how the hell can you say bratton is a piece of shit. that man is a damn genius. he turned around NYC and LA. i was raised in Los Angeles in the late 80's early 90's i left in 1994. i go back every year to visit and Los Angeles is alot safer now than it was than and its all because of Bratton putting in place all the right policies.
