  • @ImYerrow centerfire systems... 3 in a pouch for $40..

  • Left eye dominant? Let's see those pie plates next time. Good video though

  • @ImYerrow, try cheaper than dirt's website

  • how to you adjust the front sight on the Ak without buying that stupid Tapco tool?

  • @mycatisromeo

Elevation can be adjusted with a pair of needle nose pliers, and for windage all you need is a hammer or a rock.

  • I think you need a check pad

  • Got a 8 x 42 POSP on mine i had to take the paint off my slider mount on the left side so it will go on eaisly,no its not a sniper rifle but its fun to see what kinda grouping you get 75-100 yds.

  • I don't care if the WASR isn't all that accurate - POSP looks like so much fun. Can't wait to get one.

  • Thats a heavy scope system and mount for that rifle.

  • You should put a reddish composite pistol grip on it, or make a wooden one and stain it like the buttstock and handguard. It would look sick.

  • what wood stain did u use looks great

  • boo WASR..boo!

  • scope and rail costs almost as much as a wasr... but If it works do it

  • They don't come with side rails....unless the seller throws that in with the deal..you can buy them for cheap on the Internet.

  • @1488grand mines a 1970 model and it has a side mount for a scope

  • I really wanted to see the paper target.

  • how did you get the rail on your wasr for your scope

  • @sigliumdiaboli The WASR 10/63s come with a siderail :) I think that's the newer model.

  • @sigliumdiaboli Some come with one and some do not

  • i got mine and tacticalized it out with quadrails, EOTECH red dot, foregrip with flashlight and lazer :D im happy

  • how do you like the scope? Is it practical in the bush?

  • the magnification on that scope seems a little too much for a 7.62x39 and with a 16 inch barrell, would like to know how far the targets are and your overall groupings once you zeroed the scope, doesnt look like it'd do anything good past 300 meters though

  • beaut of a weapon. that's how i want my stock to turn out. just ordered that scope too. CANNOT wait.

  • damn that seems like a heavy scope and mount for a >250 yard accurate rifle, 10 - 11 lbs with mount and scope?

  • @adobo777 i wish my ak was good out to250 yrds.shit probably couldnt hit shit at 150yds

  • @butchy586 if you practice all the basics of shooting and get a good amount of actual trigger time (not bump firing, etc) you shouldn't have any issue, not saying you do bump fire or anything, just saying practice makes perfect

  • @24GordonFan223 i think i had enough trigger time after 20 years in the ARMY

  • @butchy586 that's well and nice you've got 20 years of training with the AR-15/ M-16 rifle, but the AK is a different animal, BTW I don't mean any disrespect and I am grateful for your service

  • @butchy586 Buy a Sako Rk95 or what ever the civilian model is called m92 or something... It's a 7.62x39mm ak deriditave and has a heavier barrel, longer sight radius, better build quality and it kicks ass. All of my 10 shots hit the target from 300 meters!

To my knowledge the civilian model is the same without full auto or the foldable stock. Although it has a slight downside, it costs over 2000 euros where as Arsenal ak103 looking weapons cost only 700euros (new) :F

  • Does it retain 0 if you remove/install it a few times?

  • @lexmark136 when i remove my scope/mount and put it back on, it might be off a few inch's at 100 yards, but for the most part it keeps zero.

  • this on fully auto would be better

  • @MrRedeyedJedi or stupidier

  • @curseofa5r5a how would it be "stupidier" which ironically isnt a word.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi YEAH I KNOW ITS NOT A WORD some sarcasm FTW, no man full auto is useless with a telescopic sigth, all that you get is a lot of bullet out of target and probalby a scope inside of your skull,

  • @curseofa5r5a thats why you take the scope off perhaps?

  • Comment removed

  • @MrRedeyedJedi so you have a full auto ak 47 in the UK? and i said "telescopic scope" of course you can shot a ak 47 in fully auto with a scope like an tijicon or a aimdot, but any way whats the point? i wnat to see your videos of you shooting your ak 47 in the UK cuz it will be the first video of its class, seriusly, and where was it made?

  • @curseofa5r5a Presumably you've been nosing around my channel. I do not have ammunition for it at present and don't intend on getting any. it's semi and fully fyi. Please stop talking a load of bollux on here and defending that bollux with more hairy big bollux. Thank you.

  • @MrRedeyedJedi no really where did you get that from? theres is a lot of people in the UK interested in a fully auto ak 47, and you have one! seriusly tell me where did you get that from?

  • Whats the max accuracy for soft targets when using the AK? Can you do a video on cold bore and warm bore shot groups also? Im think of getting one but not sure if I should save for a 14 instead.

  • @kip151 i have a wasr 10/63 with a cheap centerpoint scope(walmart$70) to me i dont think there is not much difference in cold or warm bore shot groups, at 100 yards 80% of my shots are within 2.5inch's but the total group might be 4 or 6 inchs depending on the ammo, my gun likes brown bear ammo

  • @akshooter762 Thanks for the info its very helpful.

  • haha ive seen one that looks exactly the same as this one at a gun store...did you sell it?! if so what store? hahaha

  • how accurate is the rifle?

  • im not gunna lie i hate AK47s with a passion...but their low budget and this one looks pretty bad with a scope.

  • @DixieOfDeKalbCounty i dont know why you would have so much hate against them, if SHTF it's the only weapon i would trust completely, i would choose my $500 WASR over a $1500 AR anyday, well i do have more trust in the gas piston AR's, but i know my AK would never let me down

  • @akshooter762 id look into an H&K 417 or 17. There light, as trusty as an AK if not more, and accurate, plus the germans make them so you know its good shit.lol like shamwows

  • @akshooter762

More TRUST over a WASR-10? GTFO.

I MUCH rather have an AR-15 over a wasr-10 used gun.

Now a arsenal AK-74 is a different story. Thats an AK you can trust.

  • @TheMango121 used?....haha more like broke in!! my wasr has proved to me its reliable, why would i pick a gun that i dont know if its reliable?

  • @akshooter762

And ar's aren't reliable? People blow AR reliability WAY out of proportion. I never had 1 jam out of my AR with over 2000 rounds fired through it.

  • @TheMango121 its been proved over and over ak's are more reliable than ar's. now i think a gas piston ar might be almost as reliable as the ak, but theres less that can go wrong with the ak

  • @akshooter762 yeah , the AR will never be as reliable as an AK, but the AR its fine for me, and it doens jam as much as some people said

  • @akshooter762 the reason why all guns arent reliable is because most people dont know how to field strip and clean or maintane thier firearms

  • is it accurate?

  • @dankbud i dont know why this guy posted this video without showing the target..DUHHHH

but anyway 80% of my shots are within 2.5inchs @ 100yards but the total group could be anywhere from 3 to 6 inchs depending on the ammo

  • Does that scope mount make the scope be offset to the left of the gun a little bit, or is it exactly above it? How easy would it be to use the scope while firing the gun left-handed?

  • @finkster

Finkster, I don't have a POSP yet, but I do have a PK-AS, another Russian sight that is offset to the left. The answer is, it is actually a better setup for a left-handed shooter than a right-handed one.

  • does anyone know if i can own a wasr 10 in ct? supposedly only the wasr 2 is legal here because its not 7.62x39 or something

  • I own an ak47 wasr 10, and im wondering if this scope makes the rifle it self more accurate or is it just as good with out?

  • Optics don't make the gun shoot any better, just the shooter. Good accuracy is hard to get with the battle sights, not impossible, but hard. I run a NcStar 4x32 with a Guntech side mount on my GP WASR-10/63 and get near 1" groups at 100m.

  • @Goodspittin post a video, id love to see that beings i get 2.5inch to 6 inch groups

  • I have a wasr 10/63. Attached a 4x32 scope on the side mount. With the open sights it is hard to hit very precise from 100 yards, but not impossible like someone else has said. But, with that scope on the rifle I was really surprised how accurate it ended up being. I also was around 1-2" groups. @ 100yards.

  • Comment removed

  • @chadders420 id like to see that my self

  • @SSBastiRupp technicaly yes, but the scope doent inflict in the internal of the gun, you will just have a better sigthing with the scope and that will make your shots a lot more accurated

  • Why does nobody ever show their groupings?

  • Comment removed

  • I got the 5th generation side rail with dual piccatany(however it's spelled). I had to hammer it into the mount. I wrapped the hammer in a towel, no was done.

  • did that lossen the part of the wasr that the scope attached to? hammering it on mine kinda did mine mount kinda moved left and right because of it nut not too bad. i think i can get er fixed. hows ur accuracy?

  • So....did it improve accuracy? Also, could you attach a tactical light on that rail mount?

  • Very nice but this is useless without seeing the actual target you shot.

  • @wav3form how do we know hes a good shot ? his shooting abilitiy has nothing to do with the scope, put it into someone elses hands n u will c a diffrence .,so no u r WRONG

  • Класс!!!

    Круто!

  • thats a handsome rifle and a cool soviet side mounted scope. i love it!

  • how is the AK with a scope?...iam thinking about getting a scope on mine and i was just wondering if you think i should...i have to hunt some coyotes...do you think i would get good enough groupings with a scoped AK or should i use something else

  • id like to see the grouping i like the scope but does it increase anything?

  • i own an armory usa ak-47 and ive moved my front sights ALL the way left,it still shoots a little left at 50-100 yards.any info??was guna get a scope 2 fix tha problem, suggestions?this sucks and dont know how to fix this.any help will do(dont say throw it away)haha

  • yeah the handuard and stock is very nice,

  • that side rail relaible? any problems with it?

  • ya it is.

  • @NeedWarForPeace It is the best type of scope system for an an AK, I forget the brand but I have one that clicks on to the left side of my wasr and has a 6 inch rail on top above the receiver

  • haha shit man. i already bought a side rail and it works great but its not easily click on. once shes on..shes on.. but damn i wish i coulda would got the one ur talking about!!

  • That wood gives me wood, did you buy it like that or do it yourself.

  • how much did you pay for your scope? were did you get it. how accurate is your rifile? 100 200 yrds?

  • sick dude i have the exact same AK copy, the romanian one. i also have a 2x magnification lazer dot scope. its really good on an AK because it fits on the side and that means u cane still look through the iron sights

  • yeah i got a wasr too and im looking to do some shit to it starting with a short range scope, possibly a red dot, but do you know if that side rail is reliable?

  • how accurate is your rifle? im looking to buy one like a set up like yours just wanting to know facts and things i should watch out for before i go buy it? thanks!!

  • Sexy. Period.

  • Where did you get those lens covers?

  • The front flip up cover came with the scope. The back cover was purchased at Wal-Mart. It's a Butler Creek brand I believe. Just measure the diameter of the scope and purchase the correct size.

  • Thats nice shooting. And you know how to hold it unlike those other stupid people.

  • hmmm a scope on an ak......why?

  • Why not? Any rifle is accurate on semi auto. The rifle is far more capable than the iron sights allow..

  • well i had a smart ass comment for you,but then i decided your probably o.k. so i will save the insults for someone more deserving.aks arent known for there long range accuracy, but if you dig the scope, what can i say, more power to ya.

  • Because he felt like putting a scope on it ... Jeeze

  • Weisser is a fucking moron.

The ONLY difference between a wasr and other AK's is the 1" receiver and MAYBE mag wobble. I bought a 40 round steel mag and it doesn't wobble at all, might just be something with the stock mags.

Seriously, an AK is an AK is an AK, they're all the same and most of them are ALL made on the original Russian machining equipment.

    Do your research doucherwolf.

  • i agree with that comment 100%.weisserwolf has no business owning a gun or pretending to know about them.fuckin jerk.

  • And that was in reply to what?

You act as if knowing about AK's (there really isn't much info to learn) is some kind of university study.

I know more about many, many things than you will ever know. Your response is indicative of that.

Grow the fuck up, boy in a man's body.

  • coal hauler hut your mother peter puffer your just mad because your boy friend left you

  • That slant brake on your Wasr 10 is sure regulating muzzle rise. What type of slant brake is that?

  • There are tons of slant brakes but they're all the same exact copy of eachother. You can pick them up for about 10 bucks on some sites.

  • Thanks for your response.Slant brakes came with the Ak variants that I bought, and they did not suppress recoil and muzzle rise as much as the one that appeared on this video. I bought a couple of PWS FSC-47 just recently, I think these will be more than adequate.

  • Try the AK-74 break for the 47.

  • explain to me the glaring differences then asshole. you won't be able to because there (by the way, the correct spelling of

'there" in this instance) aren't any.

  • Thought you told the guy below to learn how to spell? Fucking dimwit.

I've done plenty of research and own a WASR myself. It doesn't suck.

  • WeisserWolf got his account suspended. Fag. For someone who bitches so much about knowing alot about AK's, he doesn't seem prone to actually revealing all his knowledge. Go howl at the moon you werewolf wannabe and lick your balls.

  • SAR-1=Crap... Should of gotten the WASR

  • Another typical WASR lovin' retard everyone

  • They're made from the same parts. Only SAR-1s have better furniture. Just fix up the wood on a WASR and fix the mag wobble and there's no real difference.

  • OH, and SAR-1s are no longer imported since high-cap guns have to have at least 9 US made parts, which the SARs didn't and couldn't.

All the WASR-10 is, is a Low-cap rifle milled out for high-cap, that's why the mags wobble and have no mag-well dimples like the SAR-1.

They're exactly the same aside from that.

  • Only a retard would buy a WASR piece of shit

  • get teh fuck out

  • No,you get teh fuck out..oh and learn how to spell you retard!

  • make u fagget and wasr is actually bettr then w/e shitty gun u use u fkin redneck lil shit

  • You ARE infact a pathetic loser retard, tisk tisk tisk

  • says the lil gypsy granny hahaha go back to fucking your lifestock redneck

  • Whatever,pathetic loser

  • How rugged are the POSP? I heard they are pretty damn good, just like the weapon itself.

  • looks and sounds awesome,

  • Excellent vid, very nice detail. Been considering getting one of these myself lately.

  • what type of side rail do you have?

  • It's the side rail that came on the rifle. Most Century Romanian rifles come with a side rail already installed.

  • NVM, question already answered.

  • AWESOME! I love the sound of an AK!

  • picked up a WASR about a week ago, best gun in the world

  • I guess you can still use the irons while the scope is mounted huh? Didn't realize the POSP gave so much clearance

  • Yeah, not a whole lot of cheek weld with the POSP...more like chin weld.

Still fun to blast with at longer ranges. It's actually my brother's scope; he didn't have an AK with a siderail along that day, so we stuck it on one of mine.

Hitting clays at 100 yards with cheap Wolf wasn't too difficult.

  • Im pretty sure there hasnt ever been a Russian designed sniper scope (for war, not hunting) that didnt allow the use of the iron sights.

To bullseye: how well did it hold a zero from one gun to another?

  • The scope seems to be too high to give a proper shooting saints.

  • Nice camera work ...thanks for posting.

  • it looked a bit windy that day how bad did it affect where your shots were placed?

  • It was rather windy that day...

My brother had just bought the scope (he's the one shooting, I'm running the camera). He didn't have a rifle along with a scope rail so he put the scope on my WASR that day. We had just sighted it in, so we actually had it zeroed with the crosswind taken into account. I'd say it maybe would throw the bullet off 1"-2" at 100 yards (the distance we were shooting). We could still hit the clay pigeons put up against the backstop with acceptable regularity.

  • how much did your scope cost and does it stay zeroed i been thinking of geting 1 for my ak

  • The one in the video cost about $150. My brother bought it from Kalinka Optic's website (just Google Kalinka Optics).

I don't see the 4x POSP on their site at the moment, they might be out of stock or something. They have many other variants of the POSP on the site though. Just make sure you get one of the "AK Versions" if you are mounting it on an AK. That way it is calibrated for 7.62x39mm bullet drop.

It seems to stay zeroed rather well. Considering the cost the POSP is a good value buy.

  • thanx for the info i will check out that website and maybe get me 1 4 my wasr10

  • Great looking WASR, did you do the stain job? Looks pretty windy that day. How accurate were you? Was that wolf ammo?

  • Yup I did the stain job. Couple coats of Varathane "Cabernet" wood stain and a couple coats of Zinsser "Amber Shellac".

The scope has good windage adjustments, so the wind wasn't a huge problem. The AK platform isn't really a sniper weapon, so with cheap Wolf ammo (Yup, that's what we were using) and a cheap WASR one can only expect about 4-6 inch accuracy at 100 yards.

We were still able to wreak havoc on a bunch of clay pigeons (about 5" wide) set up on the backstop at 100 yards though. :-)

  • I have owned many different AKs and the Polish AK I own is the most accurate of the 16" variant. The NHM-91 I have made in China has a 20" barrel, and is surprisingly accurate at 300 yards being able to hit a 2x2' steel plate 9 out of 10 times with iron sights sand-bagged.

  • thats a very sexy gun there.

  • The only AK I have ever owned was a WASR but I would love to get an Arsenal or SAR sometme

  • Fuck dude if you were offering me a Russian or Romanian I'd take the Russian but Romanians get the job done and they are cheap and fun so chill out. No reason to give someone a hard time.

  • Never had any problems with my WASR. An AK is an AK as long as it works. Also I'm pretty sure he didn't buy the gun with food stamps, whatever the fuck that's supposed to mean.

  • Looks to me like it served its purpose!
