@scarhbar23 Thanks. They were G. altifrons. There were also a few G. orange head "Tapajos" and a G. abalios in the tank.

This next question is mostly for you, but really anyone could answer. I need help stocking the 125 gallon tank. Here is my new thoughts on what to add (after seeing your Geophags!)

-1 Tiger Oscar

-1 Senegal Bichir (12" variety)

-1 Peacock eel (8"-12" variety)

-1 Geophagus Surinamensis or Alifrontis (9"-12")

@scarhbar23 along with 4 Gymnogeophagus. they are pretty mild and act like dithers. I don't think I am very overstocked, since Geophagus don't put out as much waste as most SA/CA cichlids. And eels and bichirs are very low, on the bioload scale :)

The tank will have a sandy bottom, with lots of terra cotta pots, and brick caves for hiding. Also, some driftwood and some other decor. Does my plan sound do able? or no?
