I know people from TX have a hard time seeing things clearly through their conservative glasses but i'm glad the majority of America voted Obama.

@Bunwhip The countries you're referring to are extremists with a skewed view on the actual theories and ideals of Socialism. Socialism has NEVER been about the centralization of power, it's based on ideals of equality and fair trade, the same thing the US claims to offer. NO countries practice actual Socialism, but instead offer off-beat, outdated, and crippled practices that don't work. Socialism isn't bad. Bad people are bad, not ideological views.
And Palin isn't smart. That much is obvious.
