One of the funniest, cleverest low budget indie films of the 80s. Extremely well-written. Worth a view sometime. If you have a dark, offbeat sense of humor. If you took Sweeney Todd and set it in Los Angeles, it would come out like this.
OMG - thanx so much for the post!. was looking for Robert Beltran in his 'breakthru' role (lol) after watching Big Love recently on HBO on demand in his role as Jerry Flute, and wanted to revisit this cult classic. Saw it when it 1st came out - what a hoot and a half!
Back in the 90's when watching Startrek Vowager and saying about Chakotay - hey, its Raul!, hadn't thought much about the movie for a while.
Saw this movie once but forgot who was in it. When I watched this trailer, I thought, holy shit, Chacotay. I didn't remember Robert Beltran was in it.
I love the scene where the old swinger tries to make the move and when he is turned down he says" whats a matter baby, you got some kinda pussy disease or something?"
haha Its Chakotay! - he keeps popping up in films, saw him in Night of the Comet as well. Anyway thanks for uploading this -has long been in my must see list.

Yeh that was a funny part. It's a really funny movie, even today it's great. Really underestimated comedy.
