Before joining Shepard, I fought in the Mandolorian Wars. The fighting was glorious, but we were eventually defeated. With the end of the war, I hired myself out as a mercenary, and even worked for an intergalactic crime lord before stealing his ship with the help of a few others and getting out, as the planet was being destroyed by a blockade. I traveled across the galaxy with these people and fought more battles and took down a threat to the galaxy in the process. Then Shepard found me.

The only thing i regret is he didn't have a bigger role in the game. I mean, you recruit him, do his mission and then nothing. Only a few comments here and there.

@adrian194589 I agree. His personality development is non-freakin-existent. Of course after completing Lair of the Shadow Broker, you can read that file about how he wants to retire but that's about it!

@freshWanton86 It's a shame him and kasumi are dlc characters. Kasumi is funnier and her mission is cooler than Zaeed's, plus she actually has a role in the suicide mission. The only thing you could make Zaeed do is escort the crew back to the ship but I always use Mordin for that since he isn't that good at holding the line. I wonder if he will appear in ME 3. I hope he does since he has potential.

What I love about Zaeed is he's a bad ass but as you get to know him from dialogue, you can tell he's a man with a good heart in there. Love that guy.

@Puglous I suppose that would have taken alot more time for them. They would have to create a whole new dialogue tree. Meaning more time(big problem), and bigger file weight (not a big problem, just sayin')

I love his voice acting and he has alot of great lines. "Rage is a hell of an anethetic." However, considering his personaltiy, I really just hate him. More than any other character (even more that Jack), I can't help but wish he were real so I could punch his teeth in...not that I could...he's pretty freakin tough!

Jack is mostly only biotics. Zaeed is skilled in everything else and have trained to get where he is. Jack was experimented on. Anyways thats not why Jack is my least favorite character. I just dont like her

@bthang1 if you dont consider Zaed good thats cuz you suck he's one of the only rcruits you get whos loyalty technique does superior dmg w/o needing the enemy to be in a specific state. ex: tali needs enemy shields. miranda's slam works like a regular biotic attack so u need to break down armor and shields b4 it does anything.

cant say im overly fond of him either ... hes tough, badass and a good recruit alright but his manner is just that of a killer with no loyalty to anything but his own paycheck or sense of vengence ... even Jack and Grunt had a sensitive side (being tortured souls of a sort) this guy just doesnt have enough to sympathise with

Agreed. Even though my Shepard is walking the Paragon path, I've brought Zaeed along on most of my missions since I recruited him. There's something about his battle-scarred appearance and gruff British accent that makes him seem like a real hardass; I normally bring him along as my team's muscle instead of Grunt (who's also a good character, btw).
