epitome of tone in his hands. I love this tune. I too got it in Guitar player on a Soundpage in like 1986. Those Carvin amps were actually good. My buddy had one. Very pedal friendly.

I got this track as a kid on a thin plastic single in a guitar player magazine. It was a Stevie Vai ad for Carvin amps. I played that square piece of plastic w the single pressed into it - until it was completely worn out. Even then, I knew that if I had a Carvin amp I wasn't gunna sound anything like this!
