I think the "Oh Lord" part is just an expression. It may or may not mean that the singer believes in God, but it doesn't make this song Christian. I've always considered this a love song, and never even thought of the possibility of it being about God.

I don't know how anyone can see this as a Christian song; if anything along those lines, it's clearly an exasperated plea to an unpresent deity, begging for clarity and guidance('cause they haven't been getting any, hence "save me, I'm lost" "i've learned to love abuse" etc).
