DMT facilitates the transition to the afterlife, it in no way means that the afterlife is anything like a DMT trip. Keep in mind that on a DMT trip, you only get to spend 10 min or so catching a glimpse of eternity. You are probably going to get to spend 70 years or so on earth and when you leave, you will have experienced next to nothing. Compared to eternity, knowing your planet is as easy as knowing the back of your hand, yet you do not. What makes you think you know of the afterlife?

Yeah, dreaming is not a DMT trip.. You may produce more DMT while sleeping, or even go through a DMT trip that you don't remember while sleeping, but I'm pretty sure that dreaming is a seperate process involving more mundane memory and planning functions for maintaining the individuals coherent experience. A DMT trip on the other hand seems to represent an entirely seperate reality, or density level of existence and the traveling of the individual awareness from the body into these realms.

It all depends how you take it. Smoking, intravenously, orally or anally. Smoking will give you a trip for about 5-10 minutes. Intravenously you will be back to "normal" in 30 minutes. When taken orally you will need a MAO inhibitor (Monoamine oxidase inhibitor) for the drug to even take affect, and that trip (referring to the Ayahuasca tee) will last for hours. 8 hours though might be an extreme case..

I haven't tried it yet but from what I hear it is a lot more intense than either acid or shrooms. On the level that nothing can really prepare you for a DMT trip.

Dmt is produced in you pineal gland so its unlikly that dmt would cause pineal cancer. and also acid is more of a psychedelic then a hallucinogen. and some one mentioned that dmt last about 8 hours. that is possible if it was consumed with a maoi inhibitor.

idk about DMT lasting 8 hrs. that sounds a lil to much! from my experiences with DMT, my trips were short, 8 to 20-25 mins. and are actully hard to remember. mos def intence, and put me in a complete different place! its kind of hard to explain. but it is fun. and from what i know its as harmless as THC. its a natural chemical. DMT can be extracted from certain animals and plants with minor chemistry. and depending on the orgin and type of DMT, your trips will differ. but never heard of 8hr trip

with my experiences with DMT, my trips were short, 8 to 20-25 mins long. very intence, but kind of hard to remember. a dream like trip! with lots goin on, colors, shapes. i've never had an 8hr trip, nor have i heard of anyone having an 8hr trip. I've done DMT a handfull of times. DMT has different effects for different orgins of the chemical. like DMT from a plant, or from a frog. humans even produce DMT every night! its part if REM sleep and is necessary for life!

It all depends how you take it. Smoking, intravenously, orally or anally. Smoking will give you a trip for about 5-10 minutes. Intravenously you will be back to "normal" in 30 minutes. When taken orally you will need a MAO inhibitor (Monoamine oxidase inhibitor) for the drug to even take affect, and that trip (referring to the Ayahuasca tee) will last for hours. 8 hours though might be an extreme case..

DMT is an smokeable diffent form of acid basicly it causes hallucintaions such as seeing and hearing and sum times even smellingpeople used to do it instead of acid back when there both pop at concerts DMT wears off within 6 hours or 8 max un like acid witch can be 12 to possible 24 hour period of time witch make people want to do DMT instead of acid so they can find there way home after a party or concert
