Purchased the book and made my first SFG last week! Planted fall veggie crops and am so excited about this. I have been row gardening for over ten years and was getting so sick of all the hard work and weeds. When I read Mel's book I was amazed with the ingenious ideas he has! I constantly am thinkin about my garden all day, I love It.

I just started my first sfg this spring. And all I have had is troulbe with bugs. I followed all the directions and go out there everyday. I have hardly gotten any produce off of it. I don't know if it is because I live in Florida and I started a little late.

You can not blame the bug problem on SFG! You live in Florida and would of had the problem with any type of garden.

I read this book as a kid and recently found it again. It's just the best gardening book ever. I still refer to it for inspiration!
