Ask yourself, would you like it if you were put into a small, filthy, overcrowded cage outdoors(or even indoors) for the sole purpose of being used for decoration and/or food? What did u use to render it and what did u render it to. i have the hd ultra also. Maybe my lighting just isn't right in them because it seemed brighter in urs.

@kjwade This is just the raw video straight from the flip...unedited. But when i do edit i use Adobe Premier Pro and use the 'XDCAM EX 720p 30p' set up as it fits to the right timeline, then when exporting/encoding it, i selected HDTV 720p :) And im sure your lighting isnt right as its fine for me in day light...Hope this helps :)
