@davitodude Firstly, I'm not in law enforcement in any way. I've actually been in jail a couple of times myself, with good reason. Secondly, Of course I wouldn't want the police coming into my house pointing guns and screaming, which is why I don't deal drugs. Pretty simple, actually. If you want to place feelings of victims, I would certainly tow the line on children caught in these situation. I'd put the blame where it belongs, on the suspects.

Also, fake reports of "strong marijuana odors" were said to have been coming from the home (on the warrant). Impossible, as they were christmas trees.

If you want to prevent people from harming others, you legalize and decriminalize all drugs, set up rehabilitation/free needle & drug distribution centers where addicts can get free, pure, clean drugs and needles and a location to shoot up in. The Austin Police dept has got to be the worst police dept in Texas. Officer Pittman from the Southeast division made up three different stories to support his reason on why he pulled someone over, then stole $200 and a pocketknife from the individual. A classic crooked cop shake-down. All charges on the individual were dismissed but Pittman did get away with the money and knife.

But not all are corrupt scumbags protecting the rich and powerful. My heart goes out to those who have been abused. I've seen cops that don't care about their jobs and then I've seen hilarious and friendly cops who put a good name to their job. In order for the cops to be able to use the device they had to have a warrant but no one knew about the house so they supposedly just drove around taking readings of people's homes without a warrant.

This shows how easy it is to get a search warrant. It is a mere formality to get a search warrant, Judges give them to whatever law enforcement unit asks. There is no Constitutional protection or burden on the police to demonstrate any probable cause. @davitodude Firstly, I'm not in law enforcement in any way. I've actually been in jail a couple of times myself, with good reason. Secondly, Of course I wouldn't want the police coming into my house pointing guns and screaming, which is why I don't deal drugs. Pretty simple, actually. If you want to place feelings of victims, I would certainly tow the line on children caught in these situation. I'd put the blame where it belongs, on the suspects.
This set up was still a waste of time.

@WarInBed actually, if you did a bit of research on the subject, you'd find that the police illegally scanned the house with thermal detection equipment before a warrant was served. Also, fake reports of "strong marijuana odors" were said to have been coming from the home (on the warrant). Impossible, as they were christmas trees.
the point is to show the real reasons for the drug war: control over you. another excuse to take away your natural rights...for your protection, against yourself.

If you want to prevent people from harming others, you legalize and decriminalize all drugs, set up rehabilitation/free needle & drug distribution centers where addicts can get free, pure, clean drugs and needles and a location to shoot up in. This will prevent crimes by addicts needing money to get a fix. This will also help prevent AIDs/HIV.

The Austin Police dept has got to be the worst police dept in Texas. Officer Pittman from the Southeast division made up three different stories to support his reason on why he pulled someone over, then stole $200 and a pocketknife from the individual. A classic crooked cop shake-down. All charges on the individual were dismissed but Pittman did get away with the money and knife.

Gotta Disagree with some of you guys. Im an MP and work with regular police all the time. Yes some are corrupt and abuse there the power they have been given. But not all are corrupt scumbags protecting the rich and powerful. My heart goes out to those who have been abused. The police are here to serve and make what could potentialy be a bad situation into a calm and managible one. Police officers are people just like you who have families. @modernwarfare02 Supposedly the cops found out about the drug house from a device that could detect abnormal heating(from the lamps to grow the pot). In order for the cops to be able to use the device they had to have a warrant but no one knew about the house so they supposedly just drove around taking readings of people's homes without a warrant.

Yea, but the problem is 3 states have already made it illegal to film police officers while on duty and 12 more are in the process of doing so.Busting cops with video tape days are over.Its not just a misdemeanor ether it can carry 15 years in jail for filming a cop on duty.

This shows how easy it is to get a search warrant. It is a mere formality to get a search warrant, Judges give them to whatever law enforcement unit asks. There is no Constitutional protection or burden on the police to demonstrate any probable cause. We desperately need to reform the Judiciary and get Judges who are interested in the Documents upon which this country was Founded and what they require of the government.

@klard Great statement. This video is proof of the need to wipe the slate clean. There is far too much coopereation between teh local Judiciary and law enforcement. Couple that with the BS penal codes that often fly in the face of our constitutional rights and you room for all sorts of abuse.
