he made this for MTV when they did the VMAS at Lincon Center the first year. Basically it was him and bunch of other producers who had to do a remix of this song (other producers were Neptunes, The Gorilla, Jermaine Dupree and Diddy) The reason this was was chosen was because it was an opera song and Lincoln Center being a place known for Opera, was having merger of that venue with the MTV VMAs
