It's 90% cheaper to defend a country with conventional weaponry (Abm, counterstrike, etc) than to attack a country with nuclear devices of any kind. I don't see the problem with Iran having the technical capacity to have these weapons at all. Let them break their economy like the russians did.
Good interview. The AEGIS system they are talking about won't hit long range MIRV ICBM it's for non orbital rocket intercept. Iran's does not need rockets either they will use a van or a cargo truck. Or even a commerical jet. They dont' need a rocket to launch a nuke. Case in point trinity and hiroshima. Neither needed a rocket. Going off topic a bit but I think this puts more pressure on Israel too.
