I am pre-op and have diabities right now, I have experience low blood sugar, it almost feels like being drunk, I found a tabletl to combat the low blood sugar attacks in the diabilties section of the drug store, it is a roll of tablets, cost about $5.00 and works great when your out and about. so instead of carrying a snack you can carry this roll of tablets, good luck

I have the hypoglycemia issues as well. then I end up eating complex carbs to bring it up then I end up on a roller coaster the rest of the day... and feeling horrible.

thank you for your video, I am pre-op with Dr. Higa, he has been really excellent and really prepared me, I do have health issues and am 51 years young. I was wondering if you had the chance to see him with the blood sugar issues, I already have hypoglycemia sp? and am very concerned about how it will be post op. Thanks for sharing about your problem with low blood sugar after gastric bypass. I too and having problems with low blood sugar. I was type 2 diabetic before surgery in Dec. 2009, and I've been off all medications since the week of surgery. However, I started having problems with low blood sugar in this past year. It usually happens every few weeks and I'm not sure if it's diet related. Interested to find out what this new doctor told you. Good Luck and God bless.

i totally agree with that about the money!!! mine was the same, take me to surgery, again and again and again and again and im still not fixed. love ya girl, u look great. i just followup with my PCP for my bloodwork etc, he knows all the things i need because he has a lot of patients who have had wls. see u soon!! scares me too girl, i have no symtoms before its too late here too, sucks a lot!

@kkimberly2004 Most definitely, i should be making an appointment soon, but i have an HMO so i have to get a referral first then it's off to the Dr to find out the issues with this hypoglycemia stuff. Thanks for watching my videos, i hope it's been of some use to you. ;)
