@Wannabepro1 these guys are real monks, they came out to Narre Warren to visit the temple with the Abbott..and I was the Abbott's personal security while he was there. as for their hair...i dont know, i never asked..sorry.as for the orange robes..they were wearing them the whole time we were together..(except during their performances)... and the performance may not have been "perfect"..but you have to admit ..it was pretty awesome. all the best to you..Rahsun.

@sifurahsun Dude, the shaolin temple isn't real anymore. The real shoalin monk, nowadays wear normal people clothing and don't practice infront of people. These are trained actors. In china, the shaolin temple name has been whore'd out so much that false schools claim to be shaolin, hell, even the real shaolin school charges people sooo much money to train with them.

@sifurahsun Master Wang bo is not from the shaolin temple for the obvious reason that they were detroyed approx. 300 years ago. However, Master Wang Bo do train in bouddhist temples like the Yan Yan temple at the Si ming mountains. All the performers who claim to be from shaolin are frauds. I was impressed to see they actually performed a show, which is totally not in harmony with the bouddhist mentality. I still have doubt.

That wasnt failure to pick up the stick its part of the form i know cos my brothr does this type of form and does the same thing in it. (not spammin check his vid if u wan: kung fu-monkey pole its the one with the little kid in orange) This is wushu. You have to learn the basics of wushu and pole before you can do animal forms or that would be like running before you can walk.

The vast majority of "monks" on YouTube are merely performers. I like that you have a keen eye for discerning between wushu and traditional kung fu. But for your traditional Shaolin viewing pleasure, look up Shi De Jian.

This is a young Shao-Lin student, and alot of them travel now-a-days too make money for the different temples in China,( and there are several Shao-Lin temples),..the cool thing is, the 'staff' isn't supossed to STICK in the ground like that, but he played it off very well! hey. I saw shoalin monk perform at the Rebecca Cohen Auditorium in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. they did a world tour. and if they weren't real shaolin monks, then I guess they were just real good at imitating their closely guarded secrets.

I think you're mistaken.and if not..then where did he learn it? Yan wu lived in the(southern) shaolin temple since he was three years old. and he is the top student of the abbott. (and a great friend of mine)
