  • I cried and I ....can't imagine if my son died I hope and wish for you to see your son in heaven just love him don't worry he is with all the angels in a paradise and his smile will be waiting for you when you arrive.

  • @mylovesofmylife Obviously im not a doctor so i cant say with certainty but from what i have read i think 1 in 4 velementous insertions lead to VP. if the cord ruptures at all i believe the baby would have a 5% chance of survival. I think any loss of blood from the cord and deprivation of oxygen could cause the baby to have some struggles after birth. i hope this answers your question, i suggest if you want a more informed answer possibly talk to a high risk OB or IVPF. TY for your comment

  • Ive Velamentous Insertion can be linked to vasa previa, with Velamentous Insertion, without Vasa Previa, can the cord be snapped away from the placenta at birth-and a baby be born healthy?

  • gorgeous child

  • Our son suffered the same faith as your precious little one. I had an amazing pregnancy and my baby was growing healthy. At 37weeks I went into labor. That's when the nightmare began. After my doctor broke my water the baby's heart beat stopped. I was rushed in for an emergency c-section. It took the doctors over 30 min to get my sons heart started but the damage had already been done. Our baby was with us for 5 glorious days. That was 6 months ago. Testing should be standard of care!

  • My wife was recently diagnosed with this. She is 28 weeks pregnant with our baby girl. I hope to god she and the baby will be ok, it is very scary to hear stories like this. I am sorry for your loss, it is very sad. Thank you for raising awareness.

    Rest in peace baby Miller.

  • @b0ondockz new guide lines were released yesterday morning, im not sure where you are but i will post the link here to the new guideline. please have your wife admitted to hospital as the new GL suggest from 28 weeks is best, its the safest place for your little girl and wife. good luck, i hope you and your wife welcome a healthy baby girl very soon

  • it wont allow me to post the link but if you look on face book at the VPRA or vasa Previa raising awareness the link is on there. I believe the IVPF website also has it.

  • @teagan1111 Thank you so much. I'm going to look at it right now.

  • Wow, how brave of you to put together such a beautiful touching video of your son. I've never met you, but that video was so touching and brought tears to my eyes. Vasa Previa is definately a tricky thing and I'm so so sorry that you had to go through all of that - it's not fare, is it. my last pregnancy was vasa previa and it makes for a nervous last few wks. May his beautiful precious soul rest in eternal peace. God bless your family.

  • I know that there is no word or sentence in the world that could help you stop hurting. But my thoughts are with you. This video really touched me and made me want to tell everyone i know about Vasa Previa. I hope others feel the same way too. Miller was completely beautiful.

    Fly high beautiful baby x

My thoughts are with your family.

  • I'm so sorry for your loss, what a beautiful little son you had. thank you for making this video to bring awareness about vasa previa. May little baby Miller be sitting peacefully next to God in heaven and may you and your family be blessed always.

    Evette, midwife.

  • @boricuabella5

Thank you for your kind words. I know if the medical team involved in my case had been more aware and followed the recommendations it would have made all the difference. So thank you so much for watching and helping to raise awareness.
