  • When Ottomon Empire was crushed with the World War 1 > Those days it used to be said , the last Crusade( i.e. WW 1) has destroyed Islams central pillar. Islam will never florish again. Guess what how wrong were the predictions. As a matter fact within a few decades Islam became the fastest growing religion of the World.! Got to realise Islam is from the of the world and will be till the end of the World.

Abrahim's religion that we Muslims follow , is the religion of the God's friend (Abrahim)

  • Thanks praizor : most of the stuff is above comprehension . But I love what Allama says in the last sentence: Learn Truth, Justice and Bravery : You will be leading the World again.

Also the tests of the times of Allama That is Ottoman empire getting crumpled ,will make a Muslims actual Muslims.

The present day tests on Muslims: The destruction of cradle of civilization ( Iraq) and the relentless persecution of Muslims that is going on: .will make Muslims actual Muslims.Timeless visionary.

  • Allama Iqbal with his poetry put the nails in the coffin of one empire, lets use it to nail the other.

  • the reader sounds like late Ahmad Faraz! :)

  • Long live Iqbal !!!

  • Tulu-i-islam and jawab shikwa both are exra ordinary. It touches my heart and I ashamad myself a lot. The voice who read the voice is really touchy and really suite this type of poetry. Try to listen this whenever you are inserious mood and enough time to concentrate. Then you can understand what Allama iqbal said. His poetry give solution for all the problems of us

  • @ 2:01, What Allama Iqbal was talking about Indian intellect, he was referring to modern day Pakistanis, because at that point in time, both Pakistan and India were under one rule!

    So Pakistan Zindabad!

  • Yaar, I think this refers to and is still valid for south asian muslims, which includes 156 million Indian muslims and 167 Pakistani muslims. But unfortunately today we are unable to lead ourselves leave apart leading the world.

  • @bekartimepass yes we are unable to lead our self bro, but we are inviting you and all Muslims to come to your past which is in fact ,your future; the destine

  • Right you are, Everything Allama says is in the context of Umma. Allama used the phrase Millat-e-baida, it obviously refers to only muslims.

  • great work,

  • Man this is beautiful! Sent shivers down my spine and gave me a few tears too. Muhammad Ali's narration is so brilliant as well! I've always wanted to study Iqbal but his Urdu is too complicated for me (& for a lot of other people as well dare I say) but in this form, with the English translation I've been able to make a lot more sense out of his poetry. I really appreciate the work ur doing Praizor & I hope u continue it cos Iqbal's message is still so relevant & will be for a good few years!

  • Islamic empire means when the world is conquered with justice, equality, humanity and love, where everyone appreciates creation and the creator and touches the earth with his forehead in final submission to god.

  • Mr Praizor. Sorry if my english is not very well because i do not use this foreign tongue with a masterly hand. This poem is not really a piece of resignation or sadness. it's more a eulogy to celebrate the victory of Mustafa Kemal over the Greeks (1922).

  • I beg to differ. Almani se bhi painda ter nikla hai Turani. Alman is arabic for "German". I believe that Allama is referring to WWI in which Germany and the Ottomans were allies. Ottomans continued the war several months after Germany's surrender.

  • "THE EFFECT OF SPRING SHOWERS EXIST IN THE ~MUSLIM'S TEARS~(when u realize that u that uv committed a sin to the point where u would correct urself as a result of learning from ur mistakes and u cry for God's forgiveness"

  • I think few shares are missing.

  • Our beloved Prophet(PBUH) has said that before end of times, there wont be a single house on the face of earth where islam wont enter.inshallah.Let us promise ourselves that wo would contribute to this. Its time to remember the forgotten lesson.

  • information age. The Last Messenger was foretelling the information technology, media, television etc in my view

  • Well done. Keep it up

  • hazaroon saal nargees apne be-noree per rote hai

bari mushkel say hota hai chaman main dedawar pada

(could anyone explen me that means)thanx

    so nice poetry

    thank you so much

  • pakitanver here Iqbal used an analogy or a metaphor literally meaning that the Nargis (a flower resembling an eye) cries (referring to the dew) for thousands of years over its blindness, it happnes not so often that a sightful one is born in the garden (probably one in billions of Nargises isn't born blind); the whole analogy refers to peoples' inaction and apathy...its far between someone decides to break the status quo and step up as a leader.

  • You should change Indian into Pakistani, because Pakistan was made, and it was Allama Iqbals Dream!

  • Thanks Praizor!

Me lives in San Francisco, CA and I brought Kulyat-e-Iqbal with me 5 years ago.

Still reading it every single day (one page at a time) and one poem in a week!

    Thanks for putting this online!

That would be superb for those who don't know how to "read" Urdu, but they understand Urdu (specially Western Born Pakis)

  • Samajh nahi aati kis mun say shukriya ada karun. I swear, if we replace the rattafication education in Pakistan with this kind of 'ilm', what is that we cannot achieve. Forget everything else, this is education!

  • Thank you Praizor. I am working in US in structured finance and I feel ashamed that I never read Iqbal although I am pakistani .... this makes me want to be a better muslim, scientist and pakistani.

  • Bro. thanks for your kind words, and all the best to you in your life.

  • jazakallah khair

  • Thank you Sir!

  • Note: This is an Audio Version, InshaAllah real Ver. would be coming later ...

  • Praizor GOD BLESS YOU for this stuff yar :)

  • @praizor please let me know who is the person saying the peom, the voice hits the soul with the wordings of iqbal, please let us know the rest of the poem said by this person, a bundle of thanks to u bro.
