Amazing how brainwashing the society is becoming to turn children against their own fathers. It is brainwashing everyone against men. Terrible. Absolutely terrible.
@UltimateGoalOfLife "Fathers" are fucking putrid. I've discovered that firsthand. My father has always been a pissed off asshole who has no respect for his kids. I don't do drugs or alcohol, I don't have a sex addiction, I don't party and hang with my friends all the time, I don't get in trouble, and this asshole treats me like garbage. I don't blame everybody for turning away from their "fathers". They cause nothing but pain.
@ForcelessMercenary Dont insult all fathers around the world just because you had daddy issues...
"they cause nothing but pain" that is certainly one of the dumbest things ive ever heard...there is bad people in the world and it sucks your dad was on of them...but a good dad can instill essential values and life lessons into a kid...And maybe your problem is actually that you dont have enough fun...and its hard to believe you have sex at all seeing how you hate men so much...
How old are you ? Where did you go to school ? What's your favorite color ? Did you ever dream about going to school naked ? Did you watch the last season of The Sopranos on DVD ?
It has been proven OVER and OVER that parents should not use children as a weapon in divorse or continue to make one parent look badly.
Even if the father is being abusive, it is show that totally taking the father out of the childs life does more further harm down the line (Dr. Richard Gardner, et. al.).
I fault the NETWORK ( "I.D." Investigation Discovery) for potentially making the problem worse when she gets into adolescense.
It is scary - - - BUT I would rather the network, in this case " I. D." (Investigation Discovery) had chosen a fire, accident scene, injured parent; rather than show a nasty divorce/custody case and having this child making this film.
These networks are GREEDY - coupled with an obviously disgruntled women in the middle of a divorce (who's not too brilliant for leaving doors open with an active restraining order out).
If they MUST show this footage - at least pay 4 family therapy (dad too)!
A restraining order doesn't mean anything, in terms of the guy's guilt/innocence/danger/threat etc. It simply means his wife or ex, told a judge she's scared... and SHAZAAM! a restraining order is issued, man loses his civil rights, and carries presumption of guilt.
The 'restraining order' is a hugely abused tool - a low-cost way for women to make their ex miserable. Happens all the time, and it's wrong.

If a person violates a restraining order while on 5 years probation, will that persons probation get revoked and spend a longer jail sentence?
Skynetdefensesystems 2 years ago
I will say that it is equally important for the child to not see mommy hitting daddy.
roguegirl29 2 years ago
Correction: Daddy hitting mommy AND mommy hitting daddy.

Hmm, Well gogo22 that's a great question! Why don't you visit a prison and ask everyone in there of color why they beat up their women!
65% of urban domestic violence calls are minority so it would figure statistically huh? Does that offend you?
