  • I LIKE THIS SONG

  • mariposageorg, never ever delete this 1 !!!!!! TY u r the best ;)

  • what album is this on?

  • BEST VERSION!

  • One of the best cover songs, that I know! I really like it!!

  • What does being raped by your brother have to do with making the decision to become a stripper? If anything, if it was so traumatizing why would you want to surround yourself with more horny men? Being a stripper is a decision people make, there is no need to give them sympathy because there are other options.

  • @SirChocolateHobo what an intelligent insight into the complexities of human psycology. Why are you not lecturing at harvard by now?! Seriously. You just blew my mind. I always thought that decisions were made by different people for different reasons based on options, circumstance, experience, and the means one has at hand...! Shame on those dirty whores for not becomming accountants, lawers, and presidents like their mommies told them!

  • finally music with soul

  • fucking awesome answer song

  • Wow this is great

  • The second dude that started singing looked like eminem with a mullet and whats he saying. he sucks

  • i didnt like it - but it seems like a lot of people do so thats cool. it seems like artist is relatively unknown so maybe this is a way they can reach widespread recognition

  • @AlexDeLarqe It's called Detournement "turning expressions of the capitalist system against itself."

  • @mickystoned Is amazing what they did with this song...If I could just see the face of that Snoopy Wooggy Doggy idiot after this...or maybe he just doesn't care at all.

  • @AlexDeLarqe

they are actually very well known by now. around 2004. they have 3 or 4 albums. europe they are well known

  • @AlexDeLarqe Your username is great. They are pretty well known too!

  • @2TSA maybe you think they cannot sing, but let me tell you, they CAN sing, and they deliver a beautiful and painful message with their song too, not only de "fun part" like Akon could think, if you really think they can't sing, i don't understand why you ask if this is a legit song or not.. is the akon version a "cool" song to you?? (:.. cocorosie rocks (:

  • i'd love to get a cleaner version, hopefully it makes itunes.

  • how can u not like this song??!?

  • This song is so beautiful it makes me want to cry. for all these women (people) who have to endure this life. all this subjugation and separation. All the inhuman things people do and justify with the social contract of our times. All these double standards and we all forget that everyone is just doing what they feel they must in a cold world, which is only getting colder. (and I'm a straight guy) Cocorosie are not only preaching, they are heaven-sent.

  • @Redsparrowe123 I cannot love your comment enough. I'm happy to know more straight men are speaking up for women (or really anyone who is not a straight white male). There is hope.

  • Is this a parody or a legit song? Serious question...

  • @2TSA

    It's a legit song.

A cover of "I Wanna Fuck You" by Akon, but told from the stripper's perspective.

  • gosh, this is so dramatic... even if you had never felt like this, it leaves such scar on your soul...

  • I can't wait to see then in Lauderdale next month.

  • What is Sierra saying when it gets quiet and it's just tez beatboxing?

  • @jgirluwant : "La vie c'est comme une boîte de chocolat" => "life is like a chocolat box" from Forest gump

  • @Tom2me haha i realized that right after i posted it... but thanks =D

  • amazing perfomance!

  • I've got chills.

  • this is fucked up, but pretty cool

  • SHUT UP.

    Crk.

It's music... you should be listening not talking.

  • fucking amazing

im going to seem them soon!

  • coco <3 !

  • SO IN LOVE WITH COCOROSIE

  • @dewpdx how do you know anything about these women and any stuggle they've been through?

  • @dewpdx they are NOT privileged people. You don't know their life, step off dude.

  • @dewpdx you have no idea what they have been through. And they aren't privileged, if you knew more about these beautiful women then you would know that. Don't judge people you don't even know.

  • @dewpdx key word there is "white" racist, know-nothing.

  • @dewpdx Yeah, because Akon definitely knows what it's like to be a stripper.

  • @dewpdx Don't you understand that people are affected by things you may not realize? You have no idea what these people have been through. And even if they haven't been personally affected by this topic, why not make art about it? They executed their point brilliantly by contrasting it with Akon's song. And the whole "white" comment was pretty ignorant. Just because a person is white doesn't mean that their life is easy. Even if your rich your life isn't devoid of hurt.

  • @oak1236 i agree in im black

  • Comment removed

  • @dewpdx And I'm pretty positive these girls are of Native American descent.

  • this was fun and sexual.

  • @NamedLaughingBoy It's not supposed to be either. This is a story of sorrow from the other perspective of Akon's "I wanna fuck you"...

  • @NamedLaughingBoy wow, were we even listening to the same song?

  • i need a better quality of this please get me this , i love it

  • this is such a powerful song.

    i love it

  • cover???

    akon's song???

  • @rekolovesbeer A reply, from the perspective of the supposed stripper in the song.

  • you suck

  • My fav live act I've seen!!! xx

  • i see you trying...

  • Well done guys!

  • @bogdancrank muie lu ma'ta

  • subscriu

  • @CezaraMD :)) vroiam sa vad ce comentariu inteligent am dat de ai subscris la el...cand colo vad ca am injurat :D eh.. decat deloc..

  • eh :)) apai daca e natarau, ce vrei sa-i fac?:))

    Cocorosie = my precious!@-)

  • Awesome =)

  • yeah.

  • LOVE YOU LOVE YOU LOVE YOU

  • @morbidminotaurus Me too! So much...

  • I like this song...but what's up with strippers being portrayed as drug-addicted molested girls with no agency?

  • It's only a point of view, cuz some girls are like that :/

  • Comment removed

  • @inabeautifulplace it costs more.

  • It's kind of response to it actually.

  • this sounds like that song by akon and snoop dogg.doesnt it!!?

  • it's a response to it

  • Its meaning...

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Why is this comment rated down so much? they were asking a legitimate question. Sure, it's a bit off subject and unimportant but still...

  • Comment removed

  • OH MY GOD This song is just AWESOME! I'm so totally addicted and THEY ARE COMING TO MY HOME TOWN A WEEK FROM TODAY! I so think I'm going...

  • i love this version

  • . . . and 90% hip-hop collapses in a burst of self-knowledge. I want to sing this at every man that calls me bitch or ho, I want this to be mandatory listening for all rappers. I want to fucking carve this on the heads of everyone, boy or girl, who goes to strip clubs so that they have to see it in the mirror every morning.

  • jeez, relax. what exactly makes you qualified to make this mandatory listening for "all rappers"? a lot of hip hop is shit but then so is your attitude, why not seek out intelligent, real hip hop (Edan, DOOM, RZA, J Dilla...) than get wrapped up talking shit about mainstream hip hop. of course its shit, just dont listen.

  • Sorry brotha. I was drunk and self-righteous, and did I mention drunk? I'm perfectly aware that there's plenty of good rap out there, hence the 90% bit.

Actually, you have some pretty good taste by the sound of it; heard any of DOOM's work with Danger Mouse as, of course, DANGERDOOM?

  • no worries, just there seem to be loads of people who dismiss hip hop without ever really looking deeper into it as if what you hear on the radio is definitive! but yeah, i guess you did say 90% so i suppose i kind of agree!

DANGERDOOM is awesome, check out the tune by the Heliocentrics ft DOOM and Percee P as well, its great and I'd definitely recommend Beauty and the Beat by Edan

  • I've heard both since, and you are damn right.

Are you into any of the more slam-poetry stuff, like Sage Francis or Sole? If not, listen to some, it's an acquired taste, but a good one.

  • amazing, just listened to some Sage Francis, absolutely love him will give Sole a listen!

  • your so fuckin right!!! thank you!!

  • Wow

  • You see me trying to smile up on this pole

But I'm just hiding the pain that's deep in my soul

    You wanna fuck me

    I already know

You wanna fuck me and toss me back on the floor

  • plz send me the rest :)

    fanx !

  • go to lyricwiki org

I posted the correct version there

  • this song takes me away far far away

  • I absolutely adore them

  • Habe die beiden in Hamburg und Dresden gesehen. Großartig.

  • This is brilliant and is so much better than the original Akon song. In regards to the Maine version, all they did was sing the same awful song with an indie/pop tilt. CocoRosie deserve so much more respect.

  • The original name of this song is Summer Breeze and it is accessible if you look hard for it :)

  • this song isn't summer breeze

  • It is :)

  • amazing !!

  • ЕЕЕееее! Они самый крутые!((=

  • i love this song.

and i love them, but i cant find this anywhere else but on this video.

    it's super lame.

  • well obviously. it's a live track, they won't record it. but that's weird that you can't find any other versions. are you sure? they're all over YouTube. well, this is the best version anyway; it's the one I downloaded.

  • where can you download it?

  • I downloaded it off YouTube. I have a program that converts videos to mp3s and downloads them. I can send it to you if you want.

  • that would be amazing, i love this song but i can't find it anywhere. thanks.

  • I uploaded it to a site which you can download it off of and I was about to e-mail you the link but you filtered out who can send you e-mails. Only your friends can, so how do I send you the link? YouTube comments don't allow links.

  • i friend requested you, so just send it now.

  • You think you could send it to me too? Would be awesome or just post where to download it. Thanks.

  • Love this version, but I like The Maine's cover better.

  • don't compare CocoRosie to shit like The Maine!

  • Your opinion, not mine. And for your information I was not comparing them to each other. They each bring something different, I just happen to like The Maine's cover better.

  • Hm. Sorry.

  • lol s'all good.

  • this is such a sad song, but so fucking beautiful

  • haunting....

    love cocorosie

  • me fez lembrar da Bjork !!

  • I get a rush when Bianca sings, "There was a summer breeze." This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

  • que sabeeeeee

  • love this song, does somebody know if there playing at some festivals

  • are CoCo Rosie into Ren Fairs?

  • Man, I won't be able to listen to the original version ever again. This one just blows it away I'll remember it's sadness everytime the original comes on...

  • i have so much love for these two. nothing but admiration.

  • Have someone found the lyrics of this song?

  • you can do a search for this on a site called feministing

  • aaaasssshhollleeee

  • thank you cocorosie, chicks like you tell me there's a hope!

  • Agreed, this is an awesome response.

  • I saw them in Lisbon @ Lux! They are wild! lol

  • hahahahaha nice

  • love this song hope to see the sisters back on tour??????? but when can anyone tell me the tour dates ???

  • How`d you know? was it in my eyes?

  • If anyone has the original song, can you send it to me? I really want it.

  • it's from akon, i wanna fuck you so i've heard?

  • Yes, I know that. I was looking for an album version from CocoRosie, but I found out it hasn't been recorded.

  • You wont find it (maybe you will) 'cause this is a cover.

It's like TURN ON ME, you can find it, but the LIVE version is waaay better.

  • the book of the month club?

dang.. I thought they were still pissed off coz I forgot to pay membership.

  • what? You already did?
