@lankinator24 Not true. The SEALs were around before the SAS officially started. The SAS specialized mainly in the whole CQB thing. There are SO many forces now that could beat them.

The SBS come close, hell if not better than the SBS because they have an even better background of volunteers. As for Hussein, I believe that was a USMC squad who happened upon his hiding hole in Iraq. Israeli Commandos? More revolved around American really.
@DONTdoSMACK actually, 'dumb-ass'. it was a joint operation involving Task Force 121. And whoopy de doo, they have good martial arts skills, does that really account for anything in today's operations? I think that the world's hardest training course (SAS) is much better to prepare them for combat.
The only reason Israel have good martial arts is because they're CONSTANTLY in urban enviroments, e.g. Krav Maga.Building on this, the whole world over, the SAS are constantly refered as the best.

@DiegoMachida well with the SAS, an original photograph is taken before Selection begins, those who drop out or fial are crossed out with a red cross. In the R.M.C. the same thing happens, but for those who drop out or fail their whole face and body is blacked out in highlighter.
@lankinator24 anyone who enlists in the Navy can sign up for pre-BUDs and if they pass to BUDs and if they pass SQT for SAS you need to have served 3 years before you can sign up. So on that basis alone there are tougher standards. DEVGRU/DELTA works very differently so I think they may be about the same level as SAS
@lankinator24 I think the running is by far the most difficult in any training regimen and I remember reading some of the distances the SAS guys need to run (with backpacks with weights) and they are very very long. I'm an Elite on many levels especially in terms of running and I can tell you that maybe not even I can do those runs. But in fairness I'm not an athlete in a team or in the Military; I'm a soon to be Real Estate Developer

The SBS come close, hell if not better than the SBS because they have an even better background of volunteers. As for Hussein, I believe that was a USMC squad who happened upon his hiding hole in Iraq. Israeli Commandos? More revolved around American really.

@DONTdoSMACK actually, 'dumb-ass'. it was a joint operation involving Task Force 121. And whoopy de doo, they have good martial arts skills, does that really account for anything in today's operations? I think that the world's hardest training course (SAS) is much better to prepare them for combat.
The only reason Israel have good martial arts is because they're CONSTANTLY in urban enviroments, e.g. Krav Maga.Building on this, the whole world over, the SAS are constantly refered as the best.

@DiegoMachida well with the SAS, an original photograph is taken before Selection begins, those who drop out or fial are crossed out with a red cross. In the R.M.C. the same thing happens, but for those who drop out or fail their whole face and body is blacked out in highlighter.

@lankinator24 anyone who enlists in the Navy can sign up for pre-BUDs and if they pass to BUDs and if they pass SQT for SAS you need to have served 3 years before you can sign up. So on that basis alone there are tougher standards. DEVGRU/DELTA works very differently so I think they may be about the same level as SAS

@lankinator24 I think the running is by far the most difficult in any training regimen and I remember reading some of the distances the SAS guys need to run (with backpacks with weights) and they are very very long. I'm an Elite on many levels especially in terms of running and I can tell you that maybe not even I can do those runs. But in fairness I'm not an athlete in a team or in the Military; I'm a soon to be Real Estate Developer

@arjdizzle Man, you think so too? Hans Zimmer made a pretty good link between the game and The Rock, also notable in the ending of "Whiskey Hotel" and "The Gulag" shower room.

@GenuineRuksadindan Definitely, in fact it influenced me so much that I made a video on the shower room bit in The Rock but with the Gulag bit, you should check it out on my channel. I tell you what, it was fun making that video haha, like I just kept thinking about ideas from doing one video
