About Gandhi, I feel as though Gandhi's messages of bravery and non-violence were intertwined in a way for he seemed to believe that non-violence in the face of injury was a great form of bravery. To embrace suffering is far more brave than to use weapons in attempts to avoid it. Also, I do remember Gandhi's words condoning very limited acts of violence, but I mean VERY.

@mykole84 i believe that you misrepresent the facts and what ghandi stood for. Ghandi tried to unite the castes, hindu's and muslims and for a period of time he did. The nation united for nonviolent protests which kicked out the british. That is his legacy and that was the model that american blacks followed and was successful in gaining "equality". Gandhi cannot be the source for indian problems today. Without Gandhi, india would still be under british rule and thus not have to deal with issues
