Not really a Tifa fan as I prefer female leads who are stronger on the inside and not always leaning on those around her for emotional support. There's no doubt she's faithful though, even to someone who may not return her feelings. I really do pity her in that aspect. The melancholy melody of her theme doesn't help make things any easier. The theme does fit her perfectly though.

Tifa is kind, caring, but is also shy to express herself. I always thought Aerith was stealing Cloud from Tifa, just because Cloud looked liked Zack. And it was transalated from Japanese to english and tells you that the night under the highwind with Cloud and Tifa, Cloud admits their feelings match, just without words. showing the canon couple Go to the channel of ToruFinalFantasy and look for her video: "waiting for..." it has the link

Listen, Cloud always loved Tifa, and he also did so in the game. Aerith felt attached to Cloud because he reminded her of Zack...but you saying "Aerith was Cloud's love interest" is just being in denial. See the Ovas, play Crisis Core, etc. The true romantic aspect of the story was between Cloud and Tifa. It always was. That's a fact even if there's till people who WANT to believe otherwise just because they like CloudXAerith better.
@Niibakun I've seen the ovas, but had no intention on playing CC, as i had no intention on supporting Square Enix on any level from now on more than Star Ocean series after they totally raped FF series with making FFX and forward. I like how FFVII leaves stuff to be concluded by the player. I had no intention on being in denial, i have no right against "i know every FF7 detail " kind of fanboys who waste they're money on every sequel FFVII ever spawned, even though they are shitty ripoffs. :)

Denial is thinking Aerith EVER had a "real" chance...which only happens if you don't pay that much attention to the story. The fact is that for the story, Aerith was always the "girl who sparks the tensions" or "the third person of the couple". Aerith liked Cloud too, but that affection steemed because of Zack. A kind, strong heart and she seems to genuinely care about those around her.

Listen, Cloud always loved Tifa, and he also did so in the game. Aerith felt attached to Cloud because he reminded her of Zack...but you saying "Aerith was Cloud's love interest" is just being in denial. See the Ovas, play Crisis Core, etc. The true romantic aspect of the story was between Cloud and Tifa. It always was. That's a fact even if there's till people who WANT to believe otherwise just because they like CloudXAerith better.

@Niibakun I've seen the ovas, but had no intention on playing CC, as i had no intention on supporting Square Enix on any level from now on more than Star Ocean series after they totally raped FF series with making FFX and forward. I like how FFVII leaves stuff to be concluded by the player. I had no intention on being in denial, i have no right against "i know every FF7 detail " kind of fanboys who waste they're money on every sequel FFVII ever spawned, even though they are shitty ripoffs. :)

@JaremasteR You have your OWN reasons for not wanting to play CC or any other sequel (not wanting to support Square Enix and such) and I respect them. However, if you don't want to play them, then don't come whining about how people "don't understand" what the game meant in relation to the Cloud/Tifa/Aerith situation.
You CHOSE not to learn the rest of the story, so deal with it. The story has no longer "left things to be concluded" by the player. Things are clear once you play the sequels.

And what you did (for your own personal reasons, which Im not gonna judge) was "choosing" not to learn (or accept) that story. Then, you began complaining that people "didn't understood" that Cloud and Aeirth were a canon couple....when it was you, in fact, the one who didn't understand who Cloud's actual soulmate was, because you chose not to learn the rest of the story.

Zack is her true love, she often refered to him in FF7, and they finally get to be together in the lifestream, as you will see in Advent Children. Tifa is Cloulds love interest. Which becomes more obvious when Cloud rediscovers who he really is,

I know Zack and Aeris had a relationship i never said they didnt and i know that happened when they both died. but before she died she was close with cloud, when i said love i meant she cared because cloud was zacks living legacy as mentioned in CC, so dont say i have little knowledge.

Denial is thinking Aerith EVER had a "real" chance...which only happens if you don't pay that much attention to the story. The fact is that for the story, Aerith was always the "girl who sparks the tensions" or "the third person of the couple". Aerith liked Cloud too, but that affection steemed because of Zack. While Tifa had always Cloud and no one else.

And even if Tifa is with cloud it makes sense cause Tifa and Cloud grew up with each other... Either way FF7 doesn't change the fact that its an awesome game!

She loved Cloud more than Zack, and Cloud had counter feelings towards Aerith because she made him feel alive, so Tifa really ain't noone's girl, but still she loves Cloud... even the game "makers" said that in an article

@Uktrayf I love Tifa because she's strong and can take care of herself. She's not stealing Cloud away, imo. I tend to think that Aerith was only replacing Zack with Cloud, but that's another rant for another time. This is coming from a fangirl who isn't the biggest Aerith fan, but I like Tifa because she can hold her own (rather than being a damsel in distress). She's definitely a woman girls can look up to. A kind, strong heart and she seems to genuinely care about those around her.
