  • Part of the folk renaissance movement. Fleet Foxes could last forever. Thanks

  • 7:23 on till the end could totally be a track on King Crimson's album "Islands".

  • "I don't really hang out with anyone. I'll hang out with my band, because I love them, but I don't have any friends aside from that." - Pecknold

  • Kurt Cobain at 4.35

  • @gregorstrasbergar88 What the...O_O

  • Gonna miss you guys.

  • just amazing.

  • apart from two guys dancing a bit crazy

  • great tune, even better live! ....its a shame the crowd dont look like they are having much fun!! (??)

  • @daner31 the crowd is mesmerized...

  • maravilloso, sencillamente maravilloso

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand

    pollen

  • love the bonus verse in the live version

"In the tide, look me in the eye,

    To never let you stay,

In the night time, with the light on,

    Every light all day,

In the ocean, leaving me no time to obey,

In the morning, in the morning,

In the ocean, washing my name from your throat,

In the morning, in the morning."

  • yes.

  • 7:25 Epona's Song on Ocarina of Time...

  • @thisisfake306 Hah! your totally right, I thought that part stuck out like a sore thumb. It certainly wasn't in the master.

  • @ummche14 by master do you mean on the album? because it's there just not as loud as here haha

  • I'm literally on the verge of tears, ejaculation... just general expulsion of bodily fluids.

  • @WesClefflyn Morgan Henderson. Can't wait to see what he brings to the table in the next album, they're gonna need to pull off some new tricks now that Josh left.

  • Say it ain't so J. Tillman, say it ain't so!

  • ssunnlight over me no matter what i do...

  • this is so beautiful, gave me the chills.

  • that is so cool with the two capos. must be a quality guitar since it stays in tune despite of the stress to the strings

  • This song is damn impossible to play and sing at the same time. The A# high note, key changes, tempo shifts, the whole bit. Fleet Foxes spared no expense for this song.

  • I want to know what prog albums these guys like

  • @portero36 i can totally hear beach boys like, pet sounds as like their like ground layer but then i hear all this like cb and nash, and like moods that sound like its something nick drake would compose, and THEN i hear all this like celtic and native sounds that just blends it all together into some sortove genius musical smoothie lol

  • incredible song! incredible man, incredible band!

  • bass sax is awesome. sounds like a bunch of birds :)

  • :O

Extra verse in the An Argument section??? Epic stuff xD

  • Saw this in Melbourne the other night, pretty much the greatest thing I have ever witnessed. So moving.

  • Awesome performance by a truly great band.

  • Love It!

  • Dat ambient clarinet section..-3

He plays crazy and spontaneous because that part is supposed to feel crazy and spontaneous.

  • Best (only?) use of a bass clarinet in pop music history

  • @pdymond79 i dont think it's the only use of clarinet, in pop music history, and im not even sure if this is pop music mate.. but yea it is a good use of the instrument lol

  • 4:33 (Middle guys) - "Oh shit, we probably shouldn't of taken this cocaine"

  • i wish i could have them here, so they would play this to me whenever i want.

  • soooo amazing!!!

  • This is as epic as it gets.

  • Lovely!!! Like them for so many reasons... Beautiful voices, awesome melodies and beside all of that... I got a huge crush on Josh :-) haha

  • What a performance!! It's so refreshing to hear a "bright" vocal tone such as Robin's in today's music landscape; you can hear every word and detail so vividly- you know he wants you to hear every word as to draw you into this this amazing sonic world Fleet Foxes create!!! brilliance!!! and the end... one of the best conclusion to a song I've heard all year!!

  • Delightful (:

  • lovely...sent me right back to listen to Cowboy Junkies......

  • @TheEmanuelebroccoli nice job reppin' Cowboy Junkies!

  • dude shouldve stuck to the bass...i absolutely love the song but that random playing really....well......

  • @katara935 Its probably my favorite part.

  • divine

  • Blue smoke around Morgan is awesome... Sky looks a bit like Frodo in this vid. These guys are the Best. Kurt Kobain even showed up to watch.

  • @AnyMajorDude777 OMG!!! blondie at 4:35!

    They are awesome...almost too awesome.

  • Can't wait to see them tomorrow in Zagreb...truelly AMAZING band!!! Pretty rare to see that kind of passion and talent these days...LOVE THEM SO MUCH!

  • MORGAN HENDERSON

  • Interesting crowd.

  • Amazing band. Best band to come out of the 2000's.

  • That crowd is in love. And they have every right to be.

  • the best thing I saw in this whole fucking youtube...they're the CSN&Y of this generation.

  • @fpscabrera Well said my friend, they have much in common with CSN & Y, but I think if he continues at this rate they might be even bigger than themselves CSN & Y. .. of course that's just my opinion ...let time speak for itself !

  • @fpscabrera they also sound like and are the simon & garfunkel of our generation. Especially with those Scarborough Fair style harmonies... this band is awesome!

  • i don't know that I've seen someone play the drums with such raw power since Keith Moon was around.....

  • Insanely, offensively amazing. Here's the obligatory "can't wait to see them in Copenhagen next month" comment.

  • J. TILLMAN

  • @RefugeOLP love j tillman. his solo stuff is amazing

  • @laurendtad He is a amazing singer. I love "Year of the Kingdom"

  • i love this song :-)

  • Sweet microphone feedback save at 6:08 by Robin. It's the little things that make this performance so awesome. Like the capo throw at 2:46. haha

  • @Jlayes32 Nice!! I was just going to ask what the hell he was using two capos for...

  • prog folk at its best

  • the crowd is mystified....and who can blame them.

  • @nickfromCO hahaha, they are just standing there dopey eyed, i didnt even notice, i guess i was doing the same thing at my computer:P

  • jesus i love the directing of this video. fuck all this hipster shit in the USA. they did a perfect job on this. very lucky crowd
