i wish there was at lease one of the real ones still around today for us to see this is a great engine i think there abit over priced on the market but i still would like to have one
Watch those jackrabbit starts! You're running a train pulled by a steam locomotive, not a subway train on the IRT. The T-1's were notorious for driver slippage, and I'll guarantee that the hogger who tried to go from 0-60 in 5 seconds would have slipped and slided all the way from Chicago Union Station to Fort Wayne. Ease that throttle up, and you'll get her in on the advertised.
She is a real beauty!!

They werent that slippery! Their Drivers learned a special way of operating the T1's when they got used to it.

PRR 4-4-4-4 T1 is 1 of my fav steamers.
2 bad they didn't last very long.
The mighty did fall. :(

Whoa. Too fast around that curve! But this engine craves speed... Classic PS-1 sounds!

Even 10 times better this year! You've done beautiful work with an incredibly difficult production! Keep the fires hot!

When the (real) 4-4-4-4 was on the rails, it was state of the art at the time.

I still think even in today's standards it's state of the art

I'm sure it would probably be fueled with LNG instead of coal, if it were still in use.

I didn't see the overall view, but appears to be the best train layout I've ever seen.
