I am lowe murray's niece and I love watching him sing. I remember thanksgiving at my house he would sing to all the kids then he would get a plate of food and lock himself in a room and watch the game. I miss him

Danks-so nice to hear.I saw the UGHA shows when your dad joined in and they were fantastic.Give him best wishes for continued good health from a fan.If he feels up to it tell him to get his keester over to a show and join the group. :)
My mother has known Murray since she was a teenager. After my father passed 10 years ago, they dated until his death last year.He was a very nice person and a grandfather to my children. He was always singing to them. We miss him very much. Rest in peace Murray.*tears*
Anyone who loves this song will love "Hard as it is" by the Fine Young Cannibals. I grew up in Philly and it sure brings back the good ole days. You must check it out if you don't already know it.
@Calojido Nice name.Where have I heard that name before? Anyway,Thanks to God, Dicey Galloway is doing fine, and in decent health with all his faculties. And can still tell a good joke. Just in case you're wondering, He's my dad.
My favorite group of all times. It was an honor to be the house band and get to perform with them many, many times for quite a few years. They are all great performers and great people. Rest in peace Marlowe.
I saw this great group in the Brooklyn Paramount back in the 50's along with many others, thanks to Alan Freed for putting on these shows we had a great time listening and dancing in the isles this is where it all started in New York City and most recording were done at the Brill Building on Broadway, NYC
Fabulous !! they used to practice under the Brooklyn Bridge 1953/54 I think that is correct.
