Well, a lot of fans have been saying that both Outlaw Star and Firefly/Serenity look to much alike. There's even a Wikipedia page on it. Just search for Outlaw Star Firefly similarities in google and you'll find it. :D
I'm one of those fans. Though I don't really think they look "too" much alike. I like the many similarities between them... They're both excellent shows. And I enjoyed this video cause I too am an avid Outlaw Star AND Firefly/Serenity fan.

Slightly too fast in some parts (IMHO), but mostly I think it's fantastic. My bro just got me into Outlaw Star. I've been into the 'verse for almost two years, now. They do work very well together.
