  • U hali gani? Ninaitwa Amin. Ninatokea Moroko.

ninajifunza Kiswahili. Ninapenda kusema Kiswaheli sana!

    Asante!

    Kwa heri !

  • Habari yako PANYA? lol.....funny name...Keep it up G...Word Up!

  • Mr. McCormick, sorry I don't have any constructive FB, just an admirer. Your Kiswahili sounds so beautiful! Maybe one day (if I can catch up) we can have a conversation. Has knowing Arabic helped? You'll also find out lots of European langauges are incorporated into it when you start learning them. (Can't wait for you to start on German!)

  • Actually Swahili comes from Arabic however; the grammar is completely different. Hence, it hasn't really helped me to learn Swahili. There are many vocabularies from Arabic which is nice though.

  • I'm not sure what you mean by "Swahili comes from Arabic," but they are not genetically unrelated. Swahili is in the Bantu language family and Arabic in the Afro-Asiatic language family. They share vocabulary because of contact through trade.

  • You sound like a east Asian speaking Swahili, try to make your Swahili flow smoothly, you can do this by applying a slight Arabic accent..

  • Jeffmaddox....keep ur stupid gay-ass comments to urself fool. Kuma-mamako!

  • Pretty good, you're further along than I am.

Kenya bado wanajifunza paka sasa hivi. Lakini kweli, umejitaidi, and I hope you continue doing more to enlighten yourself into Swahili culture. You won't be dissapointed and it will definitely pay off.
