@thesuperiorHardy2010 true the one goal but Zola was a very gifted player and wasnt treated right same as baggio look at the 1994 game against Nigeria he got send off for having a bit of an adrenaline rush and bad refeering helped him get red carded for the 1st time in his career.

He couldve done much more for the Azzuri in my opinion after that incident he never played for Sacchi in any other games he was benched in the world cup finals and didnt even start thats so cruel he shouldve.

You will never find a footballer like this ever again. No one disliked him, I remember a game at Stamford Bridge against Bolton and Zola was substituted just before the end - the Bolton fans stood up and applauded him off the pitch. Amazing footballer and a true gentleman.
