  • I want this video on my C2-05 phone.

  • It's time to visit the county sheriff and apply for ccw. Next OC events will be loaded with hollow points and a round in the chamber, per the new laws.

  • @borderraven You dont need to visit the Sheriff for a response on the CCW application you intend to file. I can give that to you right now: DENIED. Dont even bother applying for one unless you have a "friend" that can get your application accepted. In my county, a candidate was running for Sheriff that would have opened the door for CCW, but he lost :( Im sure brown will sign a law banning the OC of longuns as soon as he can.

  • @Sodiumreactor, We need to form a class of CA citizens who are allowed to buy guns, but denied CCW, then we need to sue CA for our rights to OC and CCW.

  • This video is popular on Budapest

  • How did the coming out party go on the 22nd?

  • You can't compare police and ccw shootings because the nature and frequency of the encounters leading up to the use of deadly force is very different between the two groups.

  • @LtMarkT Did you see the recent stats from the CA DOJ? The police in this great state have an 11% wrongful shooting compared to a 2% of the concealed carry permit holders (non-law enforcement). Hmm I wonder who I'd rather have armed....Remember the cop that shot Elio Carreon when complying with his orders? Remember Kelly Thomas who was beat to death for being homeless? How about the countless other brutality cases that "we the people" endure at the hands of the police?

  • GREAT Video Sam ! ! ! Thanks again ! ! ! I am sharing on Facebook.

  • Since you're inviting others to participate who may not know or understand the brandishing vs carry I thought I would just add that if you plan to do this a sling is not only a "should have" but really should be a "must have" for an event like this so that nobody taints the demonstration with a foolish brandishing charge.

Personally I think it should be fine either way under law, but for purposes of the law currently and the climate and especially for the successful demonstration KEEP IT SLUNG.

  • @LtMarkT cops murdering people, no matter how egregious, are always found to be "justified". we are used to police committing m,urder and getting away with it. they are the private army of the political class, nothing more. and you want a ban on weapons for the "little people" so this ought to make you happy.

  • Much respect for those drawing the line and actually standing their ground.

Some will say you're dumb and aiding the politicians, they're obviously wrong or dishonest. Politicians will always find a way to do what they want.

Would you stay at home forever, because going outside aids criminals in their muggings. Would you blame an attractive female for getting raped by a male? Would you blame a guy with a nice car for getting car jacked?

Don't blame their rights. It's not them, it's you.

  • @LtMarkT

If you look beyond the borders of California, you'll easily find States which permit open carry. Here in Virginia we don't think twice about it and can freely carry without risk of "offending". We are hardly our own worst enemy. We are normal citizens who have taken responsibility for our own safety and that of our families. In my area there is an open carry litter pickup along a major roadway in northern Virginia. Some carry long guns during this event.

  • @alphaorgman I have been held at gun point in a robbery. I have lost a friend to a 17year old cholo with a knife. Call me an idiot, but you won't call me victim.

  • The only time I touch my openly carried sidearm in public is to re-position it because it's shifted to an uncomfortable spot on my belt. I'm not criticizing you for no good reason either, if you are going to be a leader in the movement you need to set a perfect example for others to follow. Keep up the good fight out in CA.

  • @elsensei1: You might want to stop the practice of grasping the grip of your handgun when making points about why you open carry. If done in public (like at your event when replying to a "what are you afraid of?" question) could lead to a brandishing charge. Remember, brandishing is not limited to "waving a weapon about". It can also be a charge that you touched the sidearm to induce fear in the subject you are conversing with.

  • hah! this is going to be fun! we are going to look like we are going on a safari when we go to starbucks to order coffee with our hunting rifles lol : )

  • Take note at 2:03 he mentions RIFLES AND SHOTGUNS STILL LEGAL to open carry as long as they are not loaded. I am personally going to open carry a hunting double barrel since I load a double barrel in 2 seconds in case of an emergency soo it works : )

  • Nice video.

I was waiting for, "Should you need to present from muzzle-down carry...," followed by a demonstration of proper technique.

  • @QuadDeuces that might be in another video. i had to edit for time.

  • @elsensei1 so your just proving to cops that you have rights and will use them but are not educating the public..??how does this help gun laws in california??

  • @LtMarkT Saw your comment on another video stating that only police and military need firearms and that guns will be banned within 10 years. That, combined with your user name tells me that you are just another badged thug with a bad attitude. You want to be one of the "only ones" to carry. Well, I can supply you with a list of over 100 communist or socialist countries where your thuggery will be appreciated by the tyrants in charge. Go to one of those places. America doesn't want you.

  • @alphaorgman

I think elsensei explains it perfectly in his well made video. Brown banned the open carry of handguns and not rifles or shotguns because he wants Californians to open carry long arms. If Brown banned some types of food we'd start eating the government allowed replacement. If Brown bans eating then that would be a complete ban on a fundamental right and the people will sue or seek change in another manner.

  • That's tough fight in Calinfornia! Good luck, guys!

  • Thank you for fighting for our rights.

  • Wouldn't it be advisable if we are not versed on these specific laws to just show up for support? Can you include the meaning behind any acronyms, since we do not all know them. Like OCL, OCUL, EBR, M&P45. I know some of these but not all & consider myself more versed than most people. Also could someone post 12031 so if one does go they know how to quote it. That might cause them to call a Sargent for exact info & stop confrontation, when people. quote it to them

  • DO IT YOU GO MY VOTE! GO GO GO! RECRUIT MORE PEOPLE!

  • @alphaorgman Because so many of the good and upstanding people of Orange County are lawful CCW holders? Got any more good jokes? Oh man, on second thought, never mind! You'll probably make me bust my spleen!

  • See people v Clark. It's only loaded if ammo is in a position to fire. Thanks for your concern though.

  • Comment removed

  • Nice! Finally people are standing up for their rights instead of listening to CGN management who would prefer a right converted to a privilege.

  • 'Merica!

  • I am tentatively attending this event. I will be carrying my EBR and M&P45.

  • I'll be there, Glock 23 on my side. Unfortunately I don' t have a long gun at this time. I guess I need to get one by January 1st...

  • FUCK JERRY BROWN!!!! HE'S A FUCKING TRAITOR!!!!

  • Where in So. Cal? I'll be there! Dont have a long gun "yet", but will have my sidearm for sure! And just in case keep my number handy! 951-743-2245 Bail Bonds ;0)

  • @Fight4urRightsUSA at the foot of felspar street in pacific beach, oct 22, 12 noon. Nearest actual address is 723 Felspar Street San Diego, CA 92109

  • It's sound like he's calling out to the whole firearms community;my concern is that some may not know the laws entirely. Do you need a permit or licence of a sort to open carry long arms?

  • @elbimmer no permit required.

  • @elbimmer no

  • I saw the event on Facebook for up north, do we have a place picked out for So Cal yet?

  • @hapkidoglock yes, nearest street address is 723 Felspar Street San Diego, CA 92109. 12 noon oct 22.

  • You rock Sam! I'm all pumped up now....the line has been drawn in the sand, in which we are not going to back away from!

  • @40calFunk :)

  • 12031 has a "guilty" (a)(1) and a "punishable" (a)(2)(A) requirement. You may be guilty of carrying a loaded weapon, but if you don't fall into the "punishable" classes, you can't be punished. (j)(1) and (k) gives you good cause to carry loaded. (l) gives cause to CCW.

It's like homicide is the killing of a human. You may be guilty of killing somebody, and not guilty of murder or malice.

  • Squeeze a balloon and it pops out a different direction.

Currently we can't OCL, so we OCUL as an option.

Constitutionally, we must have an option.

I thought Gov Brown said we can't OCUL after 1Jan12, so that leaves OCL as the viable option while maintaining the right to bare arms guarantee of the 2nd amendment. This would avoid the State being sued by the citizens over a violation of rights.

OCL is more practical than OCUL.

    Thank you Governor Brown.

  • @borderraven stupid
