Smoking anything is bad for your health. Just think, eating raw carrots is very good for you, but if you dried them out, set them on fire and breathed in the smoke, would it still be healthy for you? I don't think so. Same goes with Cannabis.

@medicalcannabisjourn - Cannabis is probably the least detrimental thing to smoke. Not based on any studies, just my gut feeling, I think smoking anything long term is going to have some negative effects on the brain, and lungs. But what about breathing in Cannabis oil vapourized? This would be so much more healing than the smoke.
Rick is a great guy as is Marc. There is two different altogether story's. To compare Marc Emery to Rick Simpson does not make sense and as I did the interview I did not get the feeling Rick had a problem with Marc, he just is a different kind of person and Marc does not seem serious to Rick. We know Marc is serious but Rick is taking medicinal cannabis to the world not an easy task. His main point was Marc and his bong not in Rick's eyes a good way to present cannabis as medicine.
marc is trying to legalize it for everyone, i know hes "in-your face" but hes not a medical crusader. his seed money DID go to sponsor a lot of initiatives to make it legal for medical use in a few states.. so i think hes helped a lot.
I love Marc, I love Rick they both are freedom fighters fighting for different aspects of the same cause. Being a journalist I have come across a lot of snide comments from activists towards one another...I guess thats just human nature but yeah there is a lot of trash talking and fingerpointing but I believe that Rick was just a little irritated on a more personal level for Cannabis culture not printing his hemp oil story...thats all I doubt its serious. peace.
