  • The Tithe was part of the "handwritten requirements," "CONTRARY" to us, the "Law of Sin and death," the Old Covenant Law given through Moses TO ISRAEL. ALL 613 were nailed to the Cross w/Jesus. What part of "OBSOLETE" don't people get? Not only that, but to even teach tithing from Malachi proves the ignorance of those who are teaching. It states, "tithes and offerings," which, when you do the math, ads up to approx 33%. Oh, and if you RECEIVED the tithe, it was because you had no inheritance.

  • @GetYourBlinkOn You got it right. I have no problem when people tithe, but i do have a problem when they do it ignorantly. If God has put it in their hearts to do it then it should be done knowing that we are not under the law and not under obligation to do so. The truth is that our obligation is to the poor and needy, the brethren first and then the world. Our giving should be done all in love and cheerfully without hassle or obligation

  • why do you give god money to show you love and appreciate him? what does he care about the money?

  • @dbowen1994 Um great...

  • Comment removed

  • Lost me on this one! :(

  • For those idiots who believe in their imaginary figure, why not give that ten percent to homeless or people in need... Why would god need money for or you all do realize it goes to pastors!

  • @Velvetroomdj For the idiot atheists who waste their time watching christian videos...GET A LIFE!

  • @camthejock They already have a life... they're atheists.

  • @camthejock An atheist, as good skeptics, will actively seek new evidence in order to challenge their past claims or current convictions. Watching Christians videos, hey, you never know. An argument might make enough sense to reevaluate our Zero God policy.

This however, was not it. Insanity=giving your money away to a being not proven to exist in reality or at the least, to a corrupt and sycophantic institution.

  • Truth!

  • Ben the video did not speak if giving a percentage it did talk about not being religious. This was a creative video that was saying where your heart is there is your treasure is. They did not say give to a church. Anyways good video guys I direct a traveling ministry team at a bible school in Dallas Texas called christ for the nations. We use drama as well as other methods to reach people for christ. You guys have great stuff. Thanks for what you do.

  • Soooo why would God need money? Instead of putting it toward God, put it toward helping people, in this reality, who really need it. Make sure you aren't just donating it to a church. They have PLENTY of money... trust me

  • @rootbeerforever You could not be more wrong! Most churches are struggling to make it!! Putting God's money into a good Bible based church is what should be done. Most good Bible based churches will help those who need it. They will also help their people by keeping their doors open. Our walk with God has its steps in belonging and faithfully going to a Bible based church. I really hope no one does trust your statement!! That could really hurt some good churches!!!

  • This video= Bull Manure. Guilt Tactic.....if your Church is telling you 10% giving or tithing is for Christians today, please run away!! Everyone is to give as he or she purposes in thier own heart. That is between you and God.

  • What’s the thing with money anyways? If you make 4000 dollar each month its just 400 dollar to build the house of God!

Matthew 16:18 says: I will build my church. Let’s build God’s church! Jesus himself told us to ask God to send out more workers into His harvest field. If God doesn’t have enough workers, (which we all know is true, than shouldn’t we support them? Aren’t they the so called ''ancient OT Levites’’? Let’s just be real & honor God in everything even when it comes to our wallet

  • What’s the thing with money anyways? If it’s that big of an issue.. you really should tithe! Right?

  • Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.

    Deuteronomy 14:22

What do you make each year? Or perhaps you get your salary each week? Or like most people nowadays each month?

Be honest people, God is Holy!

  • "'A tithe of everything from the land, WHETHER grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, BELONGS to the LORD; it is HOLY to the LORD.

    Leviticus 27:30

I'm sorry people but wake up!

  • Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. TEST ME IN THIS," says the LORD Almighty, "and SEE if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.

  • Lol, its funny how people make up excuses as to why we don't have to tithe anymore. if tithing is not an obligation and we only are to tithe out of love, then everyone who loves God like they claim to should do what He says... John 14:15. Quite simple.

  • @JloveJ1462

    Amen! Love that!

  • This VIDEO IS TYPICAL! Making jokes about people who don't pay tithing when you aren't supposed to "Tithe" anyway. Tithing was only to be paid by farmers to feed the Levite Priests. I hate these scam artists who preach false doctrine to get the money you could be using to help people into the pockets of RICH preachers. It really makes me mad..Really..So much wasted money on these corporate churches who only give 2% on average back to the needy. Wal-Mart gives more to charity than that. SHeesh!

  • @SacredSocietyAP You could not be more wrong!! But keep on with your unfounded hate speech!

  • @smitty927 No..I am exactly right. Maybe you should do some research. Hate speech is when you have preachers like Creflo Dollar saying they wish they could just line people up and shoot them if they don't pay tithing. If you think I'm wrong you have never read the Bible. Maybe you should watch the video TITHING IS NOT CHRISTIAN DOCTRINE by Russell Earl Kelly, Phd which will fully explain all this since you are too lazy to read the Bible for yourself.

  • @SacredSocietyAP So you lump all churches and preachers into one category? If you presume to be intelligent, then use that head God gave you and think. You should know that not all churches and preachers are the same. Most use the money for good. Lumping a group all together like you have is hateful! And get off your high horse, you know nothing about what I have or have not read.

  • @smitty927 Fine..Keep paying Tithing like a fool. It's not my money.

  • How much less conflict would there be in this world if there was no religion..

  • Erm...random question...

I've wanted to give at my church during offering, but my mom doesn't want me to do so cuz I'm too young...o3o; I don't think fifteen's to young to give, right...? Or should I just listen to her? (Honor thy father and mother) :/

  • @EbonyFulmination personally I don't think there is any age limit, but the best thing to do would be to talk to your mom about why she doesn't want you to give right now, and when she thinks an appropriate age to give is...if you want you could put away the money in a separate box and wait until she says you're old enough

  • "I can't get a signal"

Maybe you should try turning it on. Then you can call god and ask him why you don't give. Since you don't seem to have the answer.

  • The problem I have is not with the concept of the video but that giving to a filthy rich preacher or brick and mortar church is not tithing. My religious teacher must live a very non-vanity driven life. His/Her devotion must be 24/7/365 with no other life. No fancy suits, no fancy cars. no fance planes, no fance houses. For only then do I consider him/her a true believer and follower of Jesus. I only follow the "NEW Testiment" but I include the few references made by Jesus to a few old verses!

  • Love this video! I used to not tithe and recently prayed and God laid it on my heart too. God wants us to live a wealthy, happy life, but we have to understand the money we get is NOT our money so by giving 10% God's allowing us to keep 90%. Tithing is trusting that God will provide and He does!

  • what was the point of that?

  • Aloha, So as christian do you believe in tites..check out my video on tithe & leave a comment.. also i do like ur channel...

  • also please subscribe back 2 me ...Mahalo...Aloha..

  • 10% holy shit! im not giving my money to the air

  • What kind of fucking bullshit is this?

  • "I can't get a signal" XD

  • good job

  • This video is cool, but i have never read about tithing 10 percent in the New Testament and that is what we live by. I know Paul says that we should give offering according to how much we make.

  • You can tell where your heart is by where you spend your time, treasure and talents. However, the tithe (tenth) was part of the old covenant. It is not found in the new covenant. Giving is expressing love. God is love. If the living God lives in you, you give because you love God and you love people. It isn't a thing of obligation it's something straight from the Father's heart

  • @SoldierforGod23 = That is not quite accurate. Many people of faith use this argument to keep from tithing. Check out Matthew 23:23. In fact, the new covenant as you describe it requires a greater level of giving. It requires us to lay down our entire lives and give generously.

  • Tithing is done out of obedience if we say we love Jesus we will follow His word and we don't do sacrifices anymore because He is our final sacrifice. However neither tithing nor doing good deeds alone makes us right in God's eyes what makes us right is not our own righteousness but the righteousness of Christ therefore if we are in Christ we of love and from that love we are to give not any other way..

  • We (christians) Tithe because it's the first step to giving something to God and he is the one who give us the money in the first place.Jesus died to save us from r sins so his blood removes them. In the Old testament they had to let the animals blood cover there sin. Money u give to the chruch is being (or should be) being used for Gods will.If you give offerings you money . you will increase.Give 10% and God will take care of your money needs. Do Yourself a favor and give.

  • I JUST LOVE THE GUY ON THE RIGHT.

  • i completely agree with this video. as a christian i believe that a lot of us won't give up 10% to a God that can move mountains. and a lot of the people who do give that 10% don't think twice about the things they can do to better the world with their time. its not about the precentage but just having faith that God can do more with your time and money then you could.

  • @badnguy13 God doesn't need your money and "tithing" was NEVER to be paid in money. It could be converted to money for the farmers (who were the ONLY people to pay tithing) who lived far away from the temple, then had to be converted back to food when they got into town. It was to feed Levite priests ONLY. Not for gospel Christian ministers to buy Porsche's with. God would rather you give your money if you like to homeless and needy. Tithing is NOT to be paid. You are suppose to Give in faith.

  • @badnguy13 yes but the reason the percentage is there is as to provide a minimum value to ensure that people don't get slack and do nothing. 10% is a minimum. There is nothing wrong with having a minimum. That's why we have it in the Orthodox Church. It's about being strict.

  • @badnguy13 If you really want to help people give your money to an actual charity that helps the unfortunate or to a disease research center. Even if a church is doing good in the community, the vast majority of a tithe goes right back into funding the church...which of course really only benefits members of the church.

  • @ZipLineBomber Thank you!

  • give generously and cheerfully, money, time...whatever, the point is to show God's love to the world. it is not a requirement for salvation. instead it flows from your love for God. the fruit of faith

  • If tithing isn't for today, why are people needing to justify not tithing? Tithing is for today. When did Jesus say it was only for when we were under the law? What about the widow's mite? He praised her for giving even when she had no other money. "where your treasure is there will your heart be also" (matt 6:21). I think we should put our money where our mouth is. Only one life, ’twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last."

  • @christiscool8 TITHES WERE NEVER MONEY!Study Hebrews Chapters 7 - 13. It explains why we no longer follow the Old Covenant ceremonial laws which included tithes from the land, (fruits, vegetables,& grains), as well as tithes from the flocks,(bulls, goats, rams, etc.) NEVER MONEY! Hebrews was written to the Jews who converted to Christianity but were still following Old Covenant laws. Also, please understand that Gentile converts to Christianity were never instructed to follow Old Covenant law

  • It's NOT about works.

  • It's NOT about works.

  • Tithes is required on the old testament- Malachi 3:10 also in time of Moses, God give them the law to give tithes 10 percent .. When Christ came, He said that HE will not abolish the law but to fullfill the law.By grace we will offer our tithes 10 percent not because it is a law but we love to offer our tithes to HIM according to what HE required and to the extent of HIS kingdom .2 Corinthians 9:6,7 -- We should give generously as we purposed in our hearts, not grudgingly but cheerfully. GBU

  • All religions are businesses, and it's in the vested interest of the leaders to promote the idea of tithing. Clergy as a group are fairly well paid and looked after. When you give to your religion, you are primarily giving to the clergy, and supporting their lifestyle, and sending their kids to college. You are not giving to your deity .

  • @cupwithhandles that is true in christianity but not in islam.

  • @cupwithhandles You could not be any more uninformed and incorrect!!

  • Ellinist6 he came back to show that he was God.

  • To ellimist6 your crazy God sent Jesus to die so that we can have life cuz without jesus' death we would be dead spiritually because of sin thats why Jesus came to make us closer to God and to take away are sin

  • Tithing is one of the keys to attracting abundance.

  • to MinaReyes7 lets say that ur right. lets say that what i believe makes no sense and im wrong. when i die i will have lost nothing. i lived a good life believing in my God. if im right then i get to go to heaven. if ur wrong then u go to hell for all of eternity. is that i chance ur willing to take? and ur right, all of this does sound senseless, but only God could love us like that. thats why u cant understand it. ur trying to see it with ur head not ur heart. i pray God shows u the light.

  • @ ellimist6 - sounds like you're getting some facts wrong. When we believe in Christ we are adopted into His family. We are not born as children of God. Jesus didn't become a god, he always has been God. You sound like you either come from a "Christian" background and are mad at God for some reason, or have unfortunately come in contact with hypocritical "Christians" and mistakenly think that you're seeing God's true character. I'd challenge you to ask God to reveal Himself as you read His word

  • That in god we trust on the back of a 1 dollar bill is not the Most High those freemasons meant. Christians should do some more research.

  • In Levitcus, the Israelites gave more than 10%. They gave a certain percentage throught out the year. Giving the tithe is about faith. I mean really what we have is because of what God gives us. So all my finances are His,but He gives me stewardship in 90% of it. We shouldn't give our tithe to see how much more God is going to give us. You can do all the good works you want but without Christ those works will not help you at the judgement.

  • Super Christian!!! LOL

  • BOTH GUYS ARE WRONG. THE CHRISTIAN DONT GIVE 10% AND THE WORLD DO IT FOR THE MATERIAL NEEDS OF THE LESS FORTUNATE. GOD DOESNT NEED OUR MONEY, ITS A TEST OF FAITH. IF YOUR GONNA GIVE WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY FOR GOD OR STEAL IT FROM GOD.

  • Tithing is nothing more than religious propaganda to earn money and buy the pastor more "bling."

If ever you folks are needing fast cash, simply found a church (on whatever you want) preach about tithing, and sit back while watching the money roll in.

The idea of religion is nothing more than a pyramid scheme, the more you convert and believe, the greater your reward will be in heaven.

    Morons.

  • um...abraham gave MELCHIZEDEK a tenth of all his posessions. IN Malachi 3 we see God accusing the people of Robbing Him of the Tithe and offering. Jesus fulfilled the law so that In Him and thorugh the help of the Holy spiirt we are able to keep The commandments of GOD.That is why JESUS SAID If you love me you WILL Obey my Commandments. If this were not so, why would the apostles quote the old testament when saying the father asks" be perfect as I am perfect"

  • @JCMySoulsBoast

    Hey JCM,

There are many Old Testament commands that Christians are not supposed to follow. Galatians is a great book on this. Paul opposed Peter to his face because Peter got on a tangent trying to bring followers of Christ into old Jewish laws.

Tithing is such a law. The only mention of tithing in the new testament is when Jews did it. Christian giving is supposed to be willingly, out of the heart, and not out of compulsion.

  • @zwwhaley Peter got rebuked because he was preaching a different Gospel. He was telling the gentiles that they needed to live like the jews in order to be Justified in Christ and be Saved. I never stated that tithing justifies or saves, the tradiiton of tithing has nothing to do with our salvation or justification in Jesus. I willingly and from my heart obey the Lord by giving a tithe and offering of my increase, to His church believing that he will keep His promise in Malachi chapter 3.

  • Comment removed

  • @zwwhaley and trully even if there was no promise I would tithe. Because evrything I have the Lord has given me tho it is not much, i am not wealthy by this worlds standard, not even close, but I enjoy what I have to the full, gratefully and I give to the Lord what is His, what was His will always be His, maybe I dont give produce and animals, but I give a tenth of what my labor produces because I love the Lord.

  • I love these guys...but Tithing is not something a Christian should even give a second thought to. God doesn´t want your money. He wants you, ALL OF YOU.

Tithing never was Money either, and in fact to teach that a Christian should tithe could be said to be teaching in the spirit of antiChrist. Think about it. 1 John 4

  • Skit guys are wrong. Tithing is not part of the New Covenant. To say a Christian has to tithe 10% of their income is putting them under a work of law. Christians are to give with a joyful heart, whatever they determine and can afford. If we are in Christ, we will feel compelled to give to our churches and the poor, not because we have to, but because we now want to.

Tithing is another stumbling block put before church membership. It's a man made law that is not found in Scripture.

  • @oldno74 Tithe(10%) and offering(what is in your heart) are two different things. Tithing however is not a work of law. No commandments in the bible should be thought of as works of law but as guidelines for living a life of love. Tithe and offering are not forced upon, they are an individual's grateful acknowledgement that the blessing which they have received are gifts from God, and that individual passing on these blessings (money, possessions, talents, time) to others.

  • @jigom117

Tithing is absolutely a law. It was a law for all who had produce of the ground to bring 10% of the increase of their ground into the Jewish Temple. This law was 'forced' upon all Jews in the same way any other of their laws were. Tithing has no place in the New Covenant. We are to do everything from the heart and this includes giving. Tithing is no more relevant to Christians than keeping the Sabbath.

  • @zwwhaley 1. God never forced Tithing on anyone. It was the Jews who put the law above everyting else including God. 2.Sin is trangression of the law. No law no sin. No sin, no need for Christ. 3. The only places where it says new covenant is reffering to the fact that Jews had been unfaithful so he was going to the gentiles. 3. Sabbath part of the 10c but was instituted before so either way its still relevant. I could keep on going but not enough space.

  • it ses in the bible give wot you can and with concent if u dont want to give you dont have to but the reason i give wot i can is so that i can help my church and id rather my mony go to something helpfull then waste it on something that may caus me to sin altho i dont give 10% i give wot i can

  • @ellimist6, we are all entitled to our opinions and beliefs regarding God. We believe and are thankful for all God has given to us, including the ability and opportunity to make money for our earthly needs. We by no means have the tithing part down, but are working on it, because that is what is in our hearts. I choose to live my life for God, the best I can, and if you choose not to, that is your choice.

  • You are not tithing YOUR money when you tithe, the money is God's, because of God, you got a paycheck, you are giving Him what is rightfully His 10% (or more per what you feel in your heart).

  • @kjeepb how is what you work for rightfully gods? The person who is tithing as earned all of the money none it is gods. If god gave them that paycheck it still doesnt mean part of it is gods. If your given something all of it belongs to you, not 90% of it.

  • Why does god need money? Hes all powerful isn't he? If his people need money why cant he give it to them instead of them giving it to him? Kinda odd in my opinion

  • @ellimist6 the LORD works in mysterious ways = ) and if were going to ask that questions lets just get the big one out of the way "why dident GOD make man perfect and good?" i think its becuase he doesnt want us to just adore him him becuase we cant do anything else i think he wants us to LOVE him . he gave us a choice = ) love or hate. ethier way he still loves you . one way just makes him sad and the other makes his day = ) or at least thats what i belive = )

  • @chickmagnet4626 the answer the lord works in mysterious ways does not answer any question, also its not a real big choice when your told obey me or suffer hell. its not really love when you are faced with eternal torture

  • @ellimist6 In the end, God gives us what we want. You don't want God in your life, so God leaves. Hell is separation from God.

  • @regirock200 If going to hell means not being with the abrahamic deity than I would rather be in hell than heaven

  • @ellimist6 wow ur imatare it doesnt matter as long as god is in ur heart dont be that way

  • @LaGuerrera777 I see you god has a vile murderous being who is ignorant and power hungry. Why be with a god who is jealous and claim that it stems from love? Love is never jealous.Who would want to be with him?

  • @ellimist6 what i meant by "the LORD works in mysteriuous ways" is that maybe a dollar given in some form of tithing goes and feeds a orphan or helps a man get back on his feet. i dont think tithing is essentiel to life. but it doesnt hurt people = ) but he doesnt want you to face "eternal torture" (as if i know the aganda of GOD?!) but from what ive read and learned is that he weeps when we choose to do bad its like watching a child do bad . he wants the best for us! and hes more then willing.

  • Comment removed

  • Respond to this video... he proved that he loved us . he gave his son to die for us. he loves YOU .

  • @chickmagnet4626 how does sending your child some where knowing they will be murdered a show of love? If you were to send your child into a place and they die from it does it prove you love everyone else? I thought we all were children of god what makes jesus a better son of god? He said we can do what he does so jesus isnt that special

  • GOD sent his child as a sacrifice to end all sacrifice. to eternally cleanse the world. Jesus loved people even when all he got in return was hate. he loved the wretches of the world. he gave himself to die for everyone. even the people who despised him. he gave us a example of a life lived in love. my goal in life is to be just onehundreth of the person he was. Jesus IS that special = )

  • @chickmagnet4626 So god, hating human sacrifice, sent his son,who he loved so much,to be sacrificed. How does that makes sense. Also if jesus was going to sacrifice himself why does he get to go to heaven and be able to sit at the right hand of god. All that happened was he got beat for a couple hrs hung on a cross for 3 hrs, shorter time than what it takes for someone to die in that way, died for 3 dys and came back to become a god. doesnt seem like hes sacrificing anything.

  • @chickmagnet4626 heres two ex of jesus perfection. Luke 22:36 He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one." 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you." it seems like jesus,in his perfection, wants us to by a sword and eat his flesh.

  • @ellimist6 buying the sword is protection and eating the flesh is not a literal eating of the flesh but a spiritual eating to fill our hearts = )

  • @chickmagnet4626 what an easy way to brush it off, you can make any seem perfect with the correct mindset.

  • @ellimist6 im sorry ,the last thing i want to do is argue (did i spell that right?!) good luck!!! and GOD bless = ) i think if you dont read the bible to condem, but rather to find something.then you might read something diffrent. = ) just a thought

  • @chickmagnet4626 Once your eyes are opened it hard not to see whats there

  • @ellimist6 amen = )

  • @chickmagnet4626 Now I will always know of the great deeds committed by the christian divinity. Destroying Egypt and killing the first born males.Commanding genocide of other groups, killing the world,Sodom and Gomorrah and the list of greatness goes on.No wonder people worship him. Look at all the good deeds he does for mankind.Dt.13:6-10 says I should kill my family for not being a believer, since you have better knowledge than I do about god should I do this?

  • @chickmagnet4626 Amen!

  • @ellimist6 He sent his son because Jesus was perfect, and Gods wrath was taken out on Jesus, His only son. So the rest of the world may have the chance to have eternal life with God. It was an atonement for our sins.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, for whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

  • @ellimist6 "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed." - Isaiah 53:5

  • @MinaReyes7 Do you people not understand how stupid it senseless it sounds when you say god killed his son so we can be with him. god made the rules so he could made it any other way them him killing his son. You do not kill your eldest to allow your yungest sons to have a relationship with you. Killing someone else does not prove you love another person. It shows your fucking stupid.Your god is fucking stupid. and the followers very ignorant for believing such senselessness Your god is said

  • @ellimist6 Do you not understand how stupid and senseless YOU sound? God, sacrificed himself, because Jesus and He are one and the same. See, already your argument doesn't hold. Jesus, was resurrected and He ascended into heaven. His death defeated the grave and sin. He sacrificed HIMSELF. I don't know what you believe, but I think that that grace, and that love for us who truly don't deserve it, is amazing. But for fuck sakes do the research so then you can have an INFORMED opinion, at least!

  • @lyssyfire Ok it makes much more sense for a god to kill himself to make himself happy for something he planned to happen. What is stupid is believing that murdering a person will make someone innocent from real or false crimes. I thought your god hated human sacrifice since its a pagan thing to do? Also if you god sacrificed himself why did he come back to life? If he was giving up one thing for all of humanity ie his life, why does he get to come back just as powerful?

  • @lyssyfire If he was actually sacrificing himself, he would stay dead and not be given something for his act. Its not a sacrifice when he gets to become god or stay in the same position as he once was. What is a simple human body when you can easily make a new one?

  • @ellimist6 Do you not understand how stupid and senseless YOU sound? God, sacrificed himself, because Jesus and He are one and the same. See, already your argument doesn't hold. Jesus, was resurrected and He ascended into heaven. His death defeated the grave and sin. He sacrificed HIMSELF. I don't know what you believe, but I think that that grace, and that love for us who truly don't deserve it, is amazing. But for fuck sakes do the research so then you can have an INFORMED opinion at least!

  • @ellimist6 1) Actually, being that God is perfect, nothing less than a perfect sacrifice would do to cleanse our sins. There are so many things to say to all you spout: God is all knowing, so He knew the troubles that were to come, but He is SO full of love, he did it anyway so He could share His love with us! Kinda like people getting married and having kids. We know it will not be all roses, but we have kids anyway. Then why not make it so there is no sin? Then there is no free will...

  • @ellimist6 2) With no free will, we are not truly loving God, but merely being "robots". That isn't a relationship, that isn't love! So while giving us free will, God opened the door 2 not choose Him. By not choosing Him, we choose a life of sin only. Back to God & sending Jesus 4 us... God knew that the only way to truly wash away the sin He cannot be near was to have a perfect sacrifice. Jesus is also known as the Lamb of God, He is perfect & being such, was the only way to "wipe the slate".

  • @MinaReyes7 to be all loving, perfect and just, but what love comes from murder, what perfection comes from such wrath and how is it just to blame future generations for the action of a man and woman?

  • @chickmagnet4626 Actually God did make perfect. Adam was perfect but was corrupted by sin. Jesus then came and died on the cross so that man could be perfect once again. Without Jesus we are imperfect and incomplete. Jesus makes us Perfect.

  • @jigom117 couldnet have said it better myself = )

  • The skit not Trying to obligate us to do certain things it's showing us reality, there are a lot of good people who don't believe in God and are doing so many great things for others, while we that we are Believers we hardly do things for Him get me, it's not everyone just some people.

  • This story is backwards, the world should be concerned with technology instead of the Christian. I find this skit retarded and blasphemous! If you are able to even donate half of your income with 10% and 40% offering, God has definitely blessed you bc you are able to sustain all your needs with the remaining 50%. Think outside of the box, this is not a commandment of man but of God, written in the scriptures. How will the church survive? Stop being greedy and give!

  • Lol I guess people have the ability to lull themselves into a false sense of fulfillment. They know they are not actually giving to 'god', but to the church which doesn't need the money. God doesn't need ur money. He only needs u to spread the word and live right. And do so not by building churches, but by righting the wrongs in this world

  • it sux that when the governent takes FORCEFULLY a tax on your paychecks r somethin, you dnt question them... when God asks for a slight tax, then the whole world tries to rationalize it, and begins to question it.. really sad.

  • This confused me a bit bc this seems as if they have twisted roles. The Christian should have been the guy in the shirt I guess? Anyhow a Christians god is not suppose to be material things maybe that is the message? And giving is not suppose to be a set percentage (which is true we are to give of our time & money freely & cheerfully to God) It is better to give than to receive & tithing is in fact an OT tax on the harvest it is never found in the scripture to be in conjunction w/ money ever!

  • Christian tithing is not something we are obligated or commanded to do, at least not as we are taught. When tithing (under the old law)was something that was supposed to happen it was never income. We are not under the law, but grace. With that being said. following the tugging of the spirit (God in us), we should never hesitate to give and give abundantly...quit telling us to tithe. Jesus never tithed because he did not have harvest agricultural goods. Tithing as we know it isn't scriptural.

  • A comment was made below about how tithes we'er only for the OT. Not true, Matthew 23:23, Luke 11:42, 18:12, Hebrews 7:5,6,8 and 9. It is in the NT as well to be an example of what is expected by God. Malachi 3:8 WILL A MAN ROB GOD? YET YE HAVE ROBBED ME . BUT YE SAY, WHEREIN HAVE WE ROBBED THEE? IN TITHE AND OFFERING. Read verse 10. What is 10% to give God when He gave His life for our sins? Such a small amount he asks of us. How much does your internet cost? You pay tithe to your God I guess.

  • @1ecajun Tithing was done in the OT but not with monetary gain Tithing was done only in harvest of the fields, crops, land food. It was a tax commanded by God to keep food in His storehouse. Christians have twisted these scriptures. God has commanded Christians to give but to give with a cheerful heart and to give as God has prospered. Never will you find God setting a percentage because he commands us to give generously of everything. He says sell everything you have and give it to the poor

  • Tithing was under the Old Covenant. Christans not required to tithe. But pastors love that so they get more money. If they tithe which is under the old law, have them obey all 600+ laws in the O.T.

  • @evilunixuser1 Thats retarted. Thats like saying you dont need the 10 commandments. Jesus said He didnt come to change the law of Moses. So wheres the church supposed to get money from? The government? Yeah, I dont think so. And if you dont think Christians should tithe to the church, read the book of Acts buddy. Ananias and his wife Sapphira dropped dead because they didnt tithe what they were supposed to.

  • @kuhreesten The book of Acts never commanded Christians to give a tithe (which is 10%). Giving was encouraged, however. Also, Ananias and Sapphira dropped dead because they lied to the Holy Spirit, NOT because they didn't give 100% (which is not a tithe) of what they had.

  • @nucks82 matthew 22:21 talks about giving to ceaser and giving to God.. by not givin to God a tithe, you also rob God tho.. acts doesnt talk about it but other scripture does.. OFFERINGS are willfull.. not forced.. FYI.

  • @SampleArtist91 Like I said...a tithe represents 10%. Nowhere in the New Testament does it give a specified amount. 2 Cor. 9:...Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

If you believe you are bound by the law of tithing then you must not eat any pork, as well.

It is not observation of the law that God looks at to determine if a man is righteous in his eyes. It is the state of his heart.

  • @nucks82 Right, but Jesus also said in consideration to taxes "Give to ceaser what is ceaser and give to God what is God's" what is God's in consideration to taxes aka tithes?? 10% Yes the Lord loves a cheerful giver. remember in church there are offerings and tithes. correct? or not? we're not bound by the law but remember he didnt come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. [: plus i had ham today :p

  • you cant give to God because He is in heaven help the poor is giving to God

  • I don't totally agree with this. Like just because we are Christians dosen't mean that we cnt buy good things, and have good things. IT is true, that we have to give 10% and help others, but we dnt have to be poor to serve God.

  • @Melinaalinda

    you go girl. seriously.

i'm not sure exactly if the two characters in this skits are saying either of them is right or wrong... however, i feel as though they are mocking the guy on the left (which u picked up on). but i actually don't know WHAT point they were making about either cahracter. mayyybe they just wanted to start discussion?? hmmmm.

  • @Melinaalinda That's not quite what it's saying...

Let's put some scriptures up here. Notice when the guy on the right says "looks like you already did [give 50% to your god!]" -about the gadget

Matthew 6:21 - For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

"10%" isn't a quota. What we have on this earth is GIVEN to us... We own nothing.. It's much like a parent buying a daughter a car, then the daughter turning around and saying "You can't use MY car!" Even she didn't pay for it.

  • How about this.... Tithe and offering is something from the old testament. Christians, we are to give our all to Jesus, not just our money. If you think tithing is still applicable in Christianity today, then why did Jesus die? Why blindly follow what a "leader" tells you? Why aren't you sacrificing your goats and cows then? hmmm... All of your money should be Jesus', when felt led by the spirit, use it for God's will, not just for what religion calls "Church".

  • @aforestonfire So if you don't want to tithe (even though it is mentioned in the new testament and our savior tithed). Then you can give with a cheerful gift as the new testament says. God does not require money at all, but you give him money to show that he is a all powerful God that you trust. God uses the money tithed for his work such as global missions, but if you don't wish to give God a small percentage of what is his in the first place. that is between you and God

  • @aforestonfire i agree! thank you for posting that!

  • @aforestonfire i agree! thank you for posting your wise comment!

  • You never really see any videos where they 'don't' make 1 of them look like the complete bad guy. Its obvious that they want you to be on the "World's" side for this video. 1 Christian being a punk or saying things that hurt someone shouldn't make 'all' Christians look the same way. Its not about what you believe in that defines you, its about WHO YOU ARE....

  • The point of this video isn't about how much or how Christians should give. It's about the fact that the "world" acts more like Jesus that a lot of "Christians" do. We can get caught up in "stuff" so much that our works no longer reflect the actions of Christ...

  • Giving 10% is tithe...giving what ever is needed to the poor is an offering. Two totally different things. You are supose to do BOTH. It all belongs to God anyway. He just lets you keep the 90%. Because without Him you wouldn't have ANY of it. You know the church needs funds to keep the doors open to preach the Word of God. Stop robbing God and being greedy "christian" and just TRUST God. It isn't about the money to God, it's about DO YOU TRUST HIM or do you trust what YOU are doing.

  • @Brenda0312F

hey there, check out "The Kingdom of God is a Party" (book by Tony Campolo). Powerful book ,suggesting God wants 100%; wants us to live on 10%, and give, or 'party' with the other 90%. i know it sounds radical-- but that's Tony for you. HOW you ask? have you ever partied by yourself? have you ever 'gave' to yourself? no. give to others, and party w them others too :)

  • If I was the recipient of the tithe , then I would preach the OLD testament , if I am the one expected to pay it , I preach the NEW ! There is no set amount of one's income that is required to be paid by a christian and commanded in the new testament church. Christians are asked to give what ever they are able to where ever there is a need confronting them. Tithing to a pastor or church body is simply not found in the new testament. The only giving that Jesus commanded was give to the poor .

  • two question that are biblical. 1)Will a man rob God? and 2) Doesnt God love a cheerful giver?

  • God asks us to tithe so that he can keep the church, the pastors, the envangelistic programs going etc... it is God's request. He says that we are even able to TEST Him on this and see that he does not open the flood gates upon us. we will be rewarded for tithing and keeping God's laws!.. Now, who wouldnt wana do that!????

  • haha this is just amazaing! I had something like this in mind to do for quiet a long time! But I never really accomplished it.... great work sktis! keep it going!

  • I am sorry to tell you this guys, but, mmmmh, it is hard to tell it to you but, god is not real.

  • Aside from that, don't be frightened by the circumstances that the world brings your way, including this video. I'd rather play it safe by following God's word whole-heartedly rather than opinion. Our thoughts are not His thoughts, nor are our ways considered His ways. If we want to align our lives to be honorable to Him, we gotta do it by his word. God Bless bro, I'm not in disagreement w/ you, but encourage you to back your belief with the proper scripture. Take care man.

  • Did the Skit Guys go Atheist? lol... you're right GrevorStone, they both are wrong. Likewise with Paramore. As far as BMXlover, I can see your reasoning, but find scripture to fully back that ideal. Jesus says that if you love Him, you keep His Commandments. Those aren't exclusive just to the 10 Moses gave, but many of the things God deems honorable onto Him, including Tithing. Of course, there's the risk of "running out of money," but you give your FIRST anyway lol.

  • I believe as a Christian it shouldn't matter what percent we give or if we give at all. It's all dependent on the fact that if you share the word and live for god thats a lot and shouldn't feel guilty about not giving. God has an unquenchable thirst for those who share his word. Helping at a charity or donating to an orphanage can be a way of serving. Tithing is there to help support churches and events. Therefore should give but not feel guilty that you haven't. All for Jesus :P

  • @bmxlover111 Why feel guilty about not trusting God when He says HE WILL provide your every need? When you can depend on your own self to provide what you need. You say you SHOULD..but then you say dont feel bad when you dont.

Your justification says YOU SHOULD feed your baby..but dont feel bad if you dont and it starves. Does THAT make sense???

  • lol that was funny

  • Why do ministers present "satans" hand sign? Is it because religions are the creation of the annunaki?
