This is so so true, Vista sucks so much. Its all bells and whistles. It takes an eternity to shut down, I have enough time to thoroughly clean my teeth, take a piss and wash my hands only to get back to my PC still see the Vista 'Shutting down...' screen and it takes an eternity to load also. Windows 7 is a vast improvement but I feel still bloatware.

vista DOES suck, i have had at least 150 random program crashes, 25 random blue screens, 50 repetative blue screens, and gay incompatabality errors, most of my FLOPPY DISKS wont work.

i just bought a laptop today with vista premium home edition. runs counter-strike source on full setting perfectly fine. 2 gigs of ram, geforce 8600m 250 gig hard drive. and the laptop was only 450 bucks. u guys really need to figure out what your doing wrong with your pc.

The bad of Vista: -It can't run any games made in the 90's. -Vista takes up way too much fucking space. -You need a $1500+ laptop/computer to run it. -TONS of graphical glitches in games & desk top. -The new menu will fuck up first time users. -Everything runs WAY too slow. -And tons of other problems I can't put to print. The good of Vista: -It looks nice... THAT'S IT! There's nothing else to say about Vista other than: DON'T GET IT!

Sorry, my mistake. Unknown processor for me. So then I don't know why those games don't work for you. I have Intel Core duo T5850 (2.16GHz), 2x1GB Ram Ati mobility Radeon HD 3450 and Grid works. DiRT should work too, it has the same engine as GRID.
