SHOCKING>>when i looked up the lyrics for this song on google, i saw that it says that the song was dedicated to Anne Sexton, the poet that killed herself in 1974. I knew she was a poet, but i looked her up and apparently it is very well known that she MOLESTED her daughters and books have been written about it! Peter Gabriel had to have known about this when he made this song, so it's disgusting that he would HONOR her!! I have always admired Gabriel so this makes me SICK!
Yeah, I googled her too after i covered it...not a good person it would seem. Maybe he saw her as a tragic character, I don't know but such a beautiful song...would like to hear Gabriel's take on it!
f.e. after die first c# there doesn't comes an e. (i think) it sounds like the c# is staying a bit longer. and so it doesn't become a that much bright tune like you played. I like the version but that was just some stuff I had an eye on. Nothing special. Keep it up :)

It's such a classical old-fashioned voice, which is a great thing. Makes me smile. :) And the whistling was an absolutely perfect touch. Very good. I loved it.
