Need For Speed 2 SE with 3Dfx support

Best games were made back in the 90s and early 2000-2002 or so. NFS2; NFS: Road Challenge aka High Stakes, Baldurs Gate 1&2, Diablo 2, Duke Nukem 3D...the list goes on. I could name many good games back from that era and only couple of good games from nowadays. You dont need good graphics to make a good game. Look at Crysis - awesome graphics, otherwise average game or even worst.

@DeatgMagnet The ironic thing is that the graphics on NFS2SE in Glide mode were cutting edge and state-of-the-art at the time, just like what Crysis is today. I have never played Crysis 1 or 2, so I can't give you an opinion on how good I think the game(s) is/are. It really matters if the game is fun and playable.

@Celsus1984 Nope, when 3DFx is on, cockpit view is disabled, but you got a rearview mirror on hud.

ALIENwoods !! This looks fabulous. I don't think this enhanced port can do anything about wheel spin, tho lmao. I remember looking at some parked opponents, and their rims were still spinning haha. Cheers !

@XRRoy68210 haha yes, I loved this game!! I remember that this shortcut over the meadow was only one of thousands of shortcuts in the game ^^ but u had to drive though this one without any mistake, otherwise u were overtaken by them. (sorry for bad english ^^)

This is the best NFS EVER !!! I remember playing that game back then for hours and hours... I instantly became addicted when i played it for the first time... this is already ten or eleven years ago

you know what i love about this game?? you can crash and fly off the map!!! really take any risks and you will be out of the map and having fun!!! :) one of the best nfs ever!!!

Egy kis nosztalgia. :) A mai napig és tolom néha a PII-es gépemen. Hatalmas feeling volt először 3dfx-ben. Örök emlék marad! :)

Én is tolom, de én p1-en Tseng-Voodoo2 kombóval. Valahogy meg szeretném csinálni hogy a 3dfx-es verzióban is legyen pilótafülke, de nem megy :).

The 3D FX mode is ony useable if you have nfs2ea.exe

the nfs2.en.exe doesn't have this support in the exe itself.

(The nfs2ea.exe can be found on the NFS2 SE image disc)

2D graphics? Uh, the standard version is very much 3D also, just less smooth and detailed.

this game is so much fun, we used to play NFS 2 SE 11 years ago 6-players on a home made LAN (knockout mode) i remeber the computer cheats alot specially when you trying to block his way
