  • Those windows must be really wide.

  • what camera is this?

  • @blackphonetic1 hahaha! loved that lol!

  • I drove this Lotus, I mean, Tesla at a car show last week and its amazing how it does 0-60 in 3.9. If you do that in an american car, it would have a huge front mounted 600hp powerplant and you would shit yourself when the thing set off. However in the Tesla, its completly uneventful because its got Lotus tech and handling. I cant help thinking tho. What will happen to the car culture. Will people still go to racing and get excited over cars when the howl of the V12 and Rumble of the V8 is gone.

  • @Janusha well they will or can add artificial V8-sounds

  • Its been done for ages. Its called active exhaust. You can run the exhaust through a sound system and produce racecar noises out of any family car.

  • @Janusha Wow!!! Amazing!! Really? That's incredible!

  • @alfistii1

Car companies are working on batteries that can easily be swapped out....in a matter of minutes. Its only a matter of time. Electric cars are coming and they will eventually be better than gas.

  • @ajerojason ; Removing all those batteries, what a chore, i wouldn't call that

    progress....

To a motorist (non-car lover) battery power may be exciting, to people who

enjoy driving an engine with a voice is vital.....better than gas, i think not..

  • @alfistii1 You can't fight progress. The electric engine is more efficient than a gasoline engine. There is no way around this. I don't love either engine, I don't have emotional ties to machines. Its simple economics, once the battery costs come down a little more (and they will) it will be a no brainer. You can love your engine with a voice if you want......I'll save money and spend it on things that actually matter.

  • @ajerojason I'll be the syntax police asshole and say: gasoline internal combustion is an "engine", the electric ones are "motors," not engines, because there's no heat engine cycle involved.

  • @ajerojason i like your point of view....is.....its call LOGIC !!

    Mr tesla rules...

    free energy, please.

the man was a super genious.

  • @ajerojason The time it takes to recharge the tesla is many hours and then in 2 hours (if you are driving normaly) its dead again. The Tesla is junk. The compressed air cars are better then electric cars and dont polute as much.

  • Exactly how do you think you get compressed air into a car? You think you pump it by hand or something? Saying a compressed air car doesn't pollute as much as an electric car is simply incorrect.

  • @ajerojason No its not and you should do sme research before you talk about something you have no clue of. It takes the compressed air car less then a minute to air up when i takes all night to refuel the tesla. Gee, less then a minute of energy sed compared to all night? Which one uses less energy? You are simply wrong kid.

  • @db10001110101 I did do research. The air compressors use more energy than putting the energy directly into a battery. There is a popular mechanics article that talks about this. Electric cars are more efficient than the air compressed cars. Just google air car myth and the article will pop up. I trust popular mechanics a lot more than a stranger on youtube, thank you very much.

  • @ajerojason Agreed. Just energetically speaking, you get diminishing returns with compressed air due to second law of thermodynamics.

  • Comparing an electric car to a Ferrari plain stupidity, go compare to something

more equal like a milkfloat of toyota prius (pass the sick bag)

Coal is needed to produce electricity, and if battery cars attract the motorist it will

need to be Nuclear power to cope with demand.....Think it through..

  • With batteries technology you can choose how to produce electricity.

  • @nickthenamegiu ; If deman for battery cars becomes global then to satisfy the

needs of the motorist a raft of Nuclear power stations will become neccesary,

oil reserves may be becoming lower, but a car with only batteries will not work.

People are inconsiderate or incompetent and will run flat on the public roads

causing mayhem, Modern Multiair engines are greener and are very frugal....

Coal burning electric producing powerstations are not eco friendly..

  • You need to Burn Coal to produce electricity, more electric cars more Coal burnt.

    That is not eco friendly.

More battery cars more COAL burnt at the powerstation, more bat cars more

powerstations need to be built, not very green is it..

  • @alfistii1 coal and atomic powerstations are actually outdated; today it's common to bulad renewable wind, water and solar powerstations - and there are efficient and functioning cars running on electrixity/hydrogen as we speak just to bring your information up to date

  • The battery car burns more co% than the Ferrari, to run a battery powered car it

needs charging, and most people know that means burning tons of coal, the more

power you use ie night driving, carrying loads, air con, radio the electric car will be

getting through a lot of electricity, not very eco friendly in the real world, is it.

  • @alfistii1 Where are you getting your information? Electric cars use 1/10th the energy of ICE cars

  • The camera man is simply PRO

  • that was amazing, I really thought the Ferrari would win but that little e-car just stomped it from the beginning.

  • @leloodallasmultipass ; You take the milkfloat, i'll take the Ferrari everybodys

    happy...

  • aww, we don't get to see them race :(

  • lol. no worries! :)

  • That's a 550 Maranello...not a 575. Great video though. :)

    -G.B.

  • you a absolutely correct. Sorry!

  • @ferrarilovr Great Video?!! Of what? 35 seconds I was waiting for a tire-smoking side-by-side 10 second quarter mile run. What Great Video?
