I knew that Kramer was originally called Kessler, but it wasn't until I watched this episode again a few days ago that I actually heard Jerry call him "Kessler". I must have missed it the first few times I watched it.

they so funny! we can tell those early episodes they were still working on thier characters, they didn t know them so well like its the late episodes and also the interaction between each other is slower. then later they know each other so well they alredy know how to react to each others.

@squall600 Apparently in a later episode, this was explained that Kramer's door name tag said "Kessler" by mistake, and Kramer got it fixed after (in the show's timeline) this episode.
