This Jindal guy really could be the next president. He's got all the right qualities. His skin is dark, his ears are big and he's almost got that Obama lisp figured out. He's gotta lose that "Alfalfa" voice though.
much will happen in the next 4 years, mainly confidence in our president will falter. watch his rating go below 50% in the first 6 months. hes gonna drop quicker than the NYSE.
What results?! We need a full-time governor who actually gives half a shit about New Orleans rather than a self-promoting little fool who uses one office as a stepping stone to the next. Stop the national grand-standing, Bobby and do your job!
I guess U would rather have the whole state of LA be bankdrupt and have no services at all and thousand of people end up dead right?
If u feel so strongly about this issues and many other issues and you feel u can or will do it better than him or anybody eles than u should run for the governor office in the next election yourself. I truly hope u will run against him or anyboby eles in the next 3 yrs or shut the F. up.
I didn't say he should have eliminated the deficit. I am saying that he should have stopped cutting when he broke even.
I question the logic of your statement. If I disagree with him I either need to run against him or not speak? How on Earth is that a logical argument in any way shape or form?
I feel strongly and will continue to educate people about the LIES that Jindal and his supporters spread about his "ethics reform". I suggest you educate yourself and not blindly follow Jindal.
Again! if u don't like it or u think u can do it better than him,all u have 2 do is run against him or have 1 of your guy 2 run against him or anybody else in the next 3 yrs & let the people of LA 2 decide once & 4 all. Have this things ever came up in the 2007 governor race at all?
If everything is soo corrupted now in the states of LA,how come the "BETTER GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION" rank the states of LA #1 in the nation. Why? Why don't u call them or email them and ask them why?
I emailed them. While they are busy (being based in Illinois) with the issues surrounding their governor. The Executive Director told me that their methodology does not look at every ethics law, just ones they identified. They also try and look at common elements between every state. He also said that Louisiana is ranked high, not because it has high rankings, but because other states are even lower than Louisiana. (Too Be Continued)
pt 2) Clearly the Better Government Association left some legislation out. They obviously did not take into consideration the higher burden of proof required to convict people of ethics violations. They also obviously did not take into consideration the removal of the Louisiana Governor's office from the public records law.
You look at this one study as the gospel, yet you ignore the report from Citizens Access Project which ranked Louisiana dead last in transparency (To Be continued)
pt 3) You also ignore the fact that SB 363 removed the Office of the Governor from the public records law. This cannot be disputed, nor can it be ignored when having a meaningful discussion of ethics and Louisiana's progress or lack thereof.
And I am sure that I will back someone against Jindal in 2011. However, there are many people who, just like you, will blindly follow him and will refuse to listen to anything negative about him. The media was basically a shill for him in 2007 (2bcont.)
pt4) In 2007 many of us warned the citizens of Louisiana about the kind of Governor that Bobby Jindal would turn out to be. We accurately predicted, via our own research, that any ethics reform would not be meaningful and that he would just bring more of the same type of government. His campaign (and his supporters) called us part of the corrupt crowd for daring to oppose the so called reform candidate. However, we did not oppose reform; we just rejected the idea that Jindal was sincere.
Bobby Jindal would get steam rolled by Obama.
"real solutions, real results" but yet, they didn't offer any! I don't think that is very "real."
All this ad is doing is playing lip service to "conservative principles" while not taking a firm stance on ANY issue

As I figure it, once Obama gets us stuck in an Economic hole, people will be rallying to Jindal, Charlie Crist, or Mike Pence.

Real solutions?
Is that a joke-the man is an idiot and a cruel one at that to reject bail out money.
He's playing partisan politics with peoples lives-infact this is twice he has done it!
Rejecting money that could make a real difference to those most needy.,
You gotta be kidding me.
Louisiana deserves so much better.
Also after watching him try take on Obama tonight.
Well lets just say you can save all this Jindal-Palin '012 nonsense.
They wouldn't stand the slightest chance.

Real solutions to real problems? Like closing down health clinics even though you are running a surplus? Yeah, that doesn't make sense at all.
