World of Warcraft Soundtrack - Jungle [Night]

I remember when I solo'd King Bangalash and his panther minions on my fire mage by kiting them half way across the zone whilst this played passively in the background. The sheer thrill of having won that fight was great.

I don't get that excited about games anymore :(

Go back a few years. Remember those late nights? You had school/work in the morning, but you didn't care. You were on your level 30-40 character, maybe your alt, or maybe it was your main back when you were completely new. You quested in Stranglethorn, everything was so simple, yet so fun. Gathering the pages of Stranglethorn, killing trolls and gathering their tusks, looking for those darn stealthing panthers. Stranglethorn Vale is filled with memories for me.

Im a Gamer. I´ve played many Videogames, since 15 Years now, since i was

a little Child. But they were only a few Games wich were so awsome, that even Years after i played them, they give me Nostalgia like this.

2005 i started with WoW. And since then, it was the last Game of this kind.

Stranglethorn Vale. I remember hearing about Booty Bay and I wanted to go there so bad. To this day, it's one of my favorite places to go. I remember back when I was lvl 30 that that place was where it was at. Where the action was. If I could make it there, I could make it anywhere. I sometimes like to drop by and watch the bay in BB for the memories. And those goblins. Can't wait for those guys in Cataclysm.

haha i remember a laugh . i was on my troll shaman questing near the horde base and then 2 ally pallys came up n started beating my ass i left one with abaout 50 hp and died they started tea beagging me and then i used reincarnation and SMACKED ONE RIGHT IN THE KISSER WITH a 2hand mace crit =)

@Acolis wasted? those years were the best for me. goreslam said the exact thing I'd say, I miss playing it because you learn stuff from WoW, and its so detailed and the lore is always interesting. Its more than a game, I dunno how blizzard did it.

yeah it does, but still..well when u played a few chars trough a land like STV the idea of what will be around this corner is gone cause u know the location of all the mobs...thats how i feel about that :P

Reminds me of all the time I spent doing the Zalazane/Troll quests on Echo Isles as a level 6 with a mate of mine..we were seriously underpowered, but they were the best days of the game.

I hunted only players, and the mobs where only there for...i don't know..maybe just for fun...

this reminds me of my first playthrough when i went to stv...this gives me great memories...such as getting ganked by really high creatures...It was like walking around in a living breathing jungle,not most mmo crap where you dont even bother to explore the world

STV is a gank a thon for anybody under lvl35 but scince blizz made the game MUCH easier for lower lvls to get up to lvl60 its a doss :( unfair on experianced players

Depends on the server. Sporregar (EU, PR-PvP) is hardly any ganking at all. 9 out of 10 enemies I run into will responde to a /hi and /wave in kind. The last reamining asshats are easilly spankable with a well stocked Freinds list.

Plus... this gives room for ganker baiting. And STV is just the perfect place for that. ;)
