I disagree about the whole Turks coming after the Armenians. The Armenians were used by the Soviet forces but they never speak about that. Other then that I agree with these guys.
It is time we speak and stand up for ourselves and let those against us be damned!. We have been worried about be a racist, mean, and wanted to show how well mannered we could be. Where has it gotten us? Seems the more the immigrants act out the more the GOP/Dems support them. I will only support those who will end immigration! Illegal first , then all, then reverse the illegal citizenship granted to babies dropped once their illegal immigrant mom crossed the border.
In 1977 an illegal alien couple with one child could sneak into Los Angeles and make $200 per week each / $1600 per month with overtime paid under the table. A nice 2 bedroom apt in a nice area like the San Fernando Valley would be $450 per month. A 8 yr old used car $800 cash money. They could work and save and one day start a business and own a home. Those days are gone. The labor market is so flooded with low skill workers they are earning the same now as in 1987.
Illegal immigration is costing american citizen more than they can afford to pay. Open borders have attributed to many needless deaths by illegals. We have let in pedophiles, murderers, drunks, thieves etc. They have to go!
the issues confronting illegal immigrants are irrelevant Mr. Chungas precisely because they are illegal invaders and also because they won't have these issues if they go home....goodbye
Simple and convenient....sell that to the U.S. farmers. I support pressure on the corrupt Mexican Government who relies on wired money from migrant workers....recent news coverage of killings and drug cartels is interesting to me in that this is not a new issue. Simply put, the issue of immigration is complex and full of hypocracy on both ends (U,S, & Mexico) that is rarely addressed. The U.S. nEEds to enforce it's laws and the Mexican government needs to create more jobs!! Stop exploitation.
These are some of the issues confronting illegal immigrants today. If someone offered a 2-3 month visa to work a season or crop &return home w/a strict system of I.D. & tracking it w/deter those who migrate "outside the law:. Look up the Bracero Program of the 50's, The fact is that few people make the choice of migrating north without feeling a sense of loss and anguish. A proud return home with the future of a job 2-3 months out of the year w/be coveted by the vast majority of immigrants.
The sacrifice of immigration is a large one. Not only finanicial but emotional. Often young men who immigrate pay close to a full years salary to cross the border. In addition, they rarely see their families again & often don't start families. The lack of families are a result of the lack of females with common backgrounds.
We need to have a zero tolerance polcy on illegal immigration, along with easier deportations for legal immigrants who do NOT hold a job. The reason is when I was in a tapioca plae, there was this Fillipino foreigner just seeking trouble. That Filipino would have been thrown out a long time ago (i'm not against Filipinos), but the imcompetence of the Bush administration allowed for illegal immigration and immigrants with bad moral standing.
If mass immigration is not sustainable then the US should work on exporting it culture...simply not through wars. David Gelernter, though a neo-con intellectual superpower, makes some good points in his essay "Is Americanism a Religion."
Nothing lasts forever. Homesteading came to an end in the 50's. The age of sailing ships came to an end in the 1900's. Mass immigration is not sustainable. We bring in 2million immigrants per year, one million legal and one million illegal. To say this could go on forever is foolish. There is not enough resources to support this. Infinite growth in a finite place is the game plan of the cancer cell. Stop immigration now. Our children are counting on us.
if immigration is so bad then it has a negative feedback loop - people here won't hire them and such...and yet we don't really see that happening in the real world. There are probably multiple reasons. One is that individual firms can be more profitable by hiring them. As well, from the perspective of the economy of the nation as a whole, economists say they add about $22 billion in net benefits to our economy...that's a small % of total economic output, but a net gain nonetheless
As a libertarian, I find many of your positions spot on. I strongly support the Constitution party's stance on non-intervention, national sovereignty, monetary policy, and civil liberties. Unfortunately, this is one area where I must differ. Securing our borders against ILLEGAL immigrants is absolutely necessary, but to halt legal immigration as well is something i fundamentally disagree with.
We nned immigration quotas reestablished on LEGAL immigration. abolish Dual citizenship for certain nations such as Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Belarus, Lebanon, Syria, Zimbabwe, Libya, Sudan, Somalia, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Iran.
He makes good points. However, a moratorium on all legal immigration would only encourage illegal immigration and would harm the American ethnos. We need to strengthen the Americanization process and perfect it(and it will naturally extend to other places.) One of the failures of the Americanization of the early 1900s was that it encouraged immigrants to be silent about the Federal Government expansion culminating with American entry in WWI. The minimum wage should be abolished.

Regulation is what is ndd. Crops are rotting & workers are leaving for non-agrarian industries.
