  • ...just a couple of thoughts. This is a great way to use fill in natural light portraits...but if you look at the room he is getting a lot of natural light spill in the room which adds to the shot. Plus the color is way off. Look at the backdrop before the shots and then after. It goes from gray/black to brown. Good video, but do some testing before using this as your only light.

  • Holy nipples!!!

  • lens?

  • I have a question, how do you use that octobox with a speedlight?

  • @IsaacMaganaMusic find a suitable adapter for it.

  • @citizenofvirginity I think I didn't asked properly. Where can I get an adapter? I have one for a softbox but it's completely different from the one in the video.

  • @IsaacMaganaMusic If you live in the U.S. Adorama and BH Photovideo are one the largest photography, video production etc. equipment suppliers... They have most photography equipment needs.

  • what is the whitebalance you used?

  • Hi David! I use your lighting control gear on nearly every shoot I do... profoundly changed the "look" of my work and I thank YOU for all your innovations... a tip of the lens cap to YOU! Love that all your gadgets are compact, light weight, good quality and versatile! Frederick Dunn (Fred)

  • I can see why people would like this video, model-wise, temperature-wise and photography wise! Enjoy your breakfast!

  • Would you mind telling me how you mounted the octadome to the boom? Do you need a special adapter?

  • Nice job! Did you do a custom white balance first, then used the gal? Also, how did you know you needed the gal? Test shots maybe? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks.

Did you set the Calvin manually or use a light yellow gel?

  • Might just be me but the WB looks a little off.

  • OMG..... I remember Claudia Christian.

    She is SO HOT!!!

I used to LOVE this one particular movie she was in where she was possessed by an Alien..... can't recall the name of the movie right now, but I was GA-GA over her.

It's good to know that she's still around, and LOOKING GOOD!!!

  • any post processing on those photos?

  • No post at all- the 1/4 cto I used on the flash was all the toning I needed.

  • @honlphoto very impressive! A SB-900 would be nice to add to my collection...a model wouldn't hurt either :)
