They come 3.0L from the factory but there are a few companies that offer stroker kits.

Nope. The time and parts would have been required anyways to convert it to single turbo. This was a test car for a lot of those pieces. At the time building a "NA-T" like this was unheard of.

That is the oil catch can. It replaces the PCV for higher horsepower applications and helps prevent sludge and build up.

Nice car but why bothering to go from NA to turbo? I mean, I only see it as a waste of time and money unless you want to do it just for the sake of doing it as a goal. Not saying it's shitty at all, it very nice but I just wouldn't do it myself. Nice work though!

the compression in the block is higher , meaning using the Na head pistons rods cams etc will increase the chance of boom boom. unless everything was replaced. not much point in trying to go for big power of forgies etc. theres a T51R SPL supra here in oz thats makes 490kw ona street tune of standard internals. it ran a 10.3 on its street tune also.

The blocks are identical. If you look into it you'll see almost all big name supras use NA blocks. I don't know about you but I'd rather have oil going to my rods and bearings than the bottom of my pistons...

My buddy Jesse from supramania lives in town here, hes doing an NA-T in his 90, mk3 supra. The GE isn't that much different then the GTE say for the head, a few bottom end components and the electrical/ignition system, I don't see whats so different on a NA-T vs a standard GTE, the GTE is a little easier to work with but once you slap a snail on the GE its not really a GE anymore.
