  • im waiting for my love

  • So beautiful. It contains a hidden message of peace and pride of the native culture. And as in all that is spiritual, not just the native culture itself but the cultures of all the world. Because we are all related in spirit...and even in science:) And in a deep secret desire for peace, health, and success.

  • The music here is modern but the message and the spirit it gives you comes from the old ways. Making it a little modern hopefully will bring the younger and older generations together to enjoy this video and its' meanings. Robert Mirabal brings in the new and old ways to his music. No matter what, he keeps the Native Culture Alive. Much Aloha! Nai'a

  • Wonderful music, Robert is a great dude... I find it foolish however, how some worship Native Americans. Yes, it is atrocious what the white man had done to them as a whole, however, we must understand that they are people also, and have done many bad things also. We as humans all make mistakes, Native Americans, of any tribe, none are 'mystical beings' they are simply put people. As we all are.

  • @RangerSynthios Native Americans are Proud people who want to be treated fairly like other humans. What you call mystical beings, they are not, they have their Spiritual and Sacred ways of worship. Mother Earth and all shes' provided on this earth for us to survive and Heavenly Father. Most of all they are people, Natives of this land, who were Forced to give up their ways. Did Americans have their rights, beliefs, taken away? No! "We are All One" Foolish? No! Aloha! Nai'a

  • @dolphinnaia You mis-interpreted my words... I said 'WE ARE ALL ONE.' That is a fact! I said the Native Americans should be treated equal. We are all equal. WE ARE ALL HUMANS...

  • @RangerSynthios I then apologize to you and for mis-interpreting what you said. I do thank you for correcting me. I am glad that you say this because it is the way I feel. I have love for all people and don't like to hear who is better then the other. Love, Respect, Generosity for ALL, so simple yet so many make it such a big problem. Work together as "ONE" and all can live in harmony. Much Aloha! Nai'a

  • my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!love this and the Native American Indian...my spirit is connected to these wonderful people...

  • ...Minunat!!!

  • parabèns,gostei muito

  • My friend, Orlando Secatero, who i've known since i was a little girl is dancing to Robert. He's the one in yellow. It's so awesome to see both of my friends performing! Nizhoni!

  • I love Robert and his music <3

  • It makes me sick the way it just put into some sort of commercial world, this music is about the native, tribal peoples of the america's, not entertainment on tv.

  • @brusscainslava very commercial indeed you watched it for free on youtube.

  • @brusscainslava Yes, it isn't entertainment, but part of a rich and complex culture. Though I do not believe this video was made for entertainment. I think it was made to teach the people around the world what the native american culture is about. And since all we've got these days are the television and the radio... Really, if it ain't on tv or on the internet, some people think it isn't part of our world. Sad, but true. A culture is meant to be thought, and spread, and known, and cherished.

  • @brusscainslava - The more the rest of the world sees and understands beautiful music, native music mixed with classical, the better the world will perhaps see the Red Road and Way. Anyone that brings beauty to the world like Mr. Mirabel and Mr. Tesh, are to be respected and honored.

  • My favorite of all Roberts songs. He and Reynaldo are wonderful to watch.

  • man I can't get enough of this song

  • Lindo, maravilhoso!!!!!! Amei!!!

  • Każdy występ Roberta to arcydzieło-Piękna piosenka której słucha się z przyjemnością!!!

  • This is magnificent!!!!

  • ....This what u all Destroyed....such beauty...such a race... such a heart....

  • @Cristal891 - Not ever white person is the ancestor of the people that did the destruction. My white family did not get to America until 1902 and we were from Ireland, a land infamous for oppression, death and starvation of its native peoples... So remember, the people of today, are not the people that committed the atrocities.

  • @mwitty100 This is true to some degree-my father's family came from Belgium in the 1900's--but my mother's people still suffer for the atrocities that was imposed on them in the so called "Indian Schools".I understand that you are saying YOUR family didn't do it--MY family never had black slaves-the responsibility rests solely on the ones who make the rules at their whim and will.

  • @poco1962 It's up to US--the ones who are here now-- the people of today--to change this.

  • @poco1962 Also, the poverty and sub standard living conditions on so many reservations in this country should be considered a crime--trying to keep our way of life and our culture alive is killing us.

  • Is the dude playing piano Peter Gabriel?

  • @mrjangles1 John Tesh is the piano player.

  • @mrjangles1 No, it's John Tesh. =)

  • I love Mirabal! He is a great performer and a great person. And he's Navajo, like me. But i'm only a little bit Navajo, i'm really Spanish. He's also a pueblo native. Me and him share one thing in common.... Having lived in New Mexico.

  • i love his music and i am proud of me being Native American :)

  • Awesome video with soul stirring music set in one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places on earth, Monument Valley. I had the privilege to visit Monument Valley and the Navajo people who live there in 2009,on my 51st birthday, it is one of my favourite places in the world and I hope I have the opportunity to return someday.

  • In this video we come together with our old ones! look at there eye's

  • truly awsesome as they were my tribe when i was alive back then being a medium helps me see where i came from to those who diddnt like it you are ignorant and have no idea what it truly means to stir the spirit

  • A gorgeous video. I met Robert about 10 years ago when he performed in Fredrick Maryland. A real gentleman and very appreciative of his fans.

  • Beauty in the spirit of this song! it's home for this Navajo:)

  • I love this!! it makes my spirit happy. and proud of my heritage. AHO!

  • this is beautiful!! Their is too much wrong all over the media nowadays :( i hope the people WAKE UP to what is real soon. Much love to all <3 love is lost in many but not in the few and i hope people find it once again in themselves. Sending love and healing out to mother earth and every person that resides on her.

  • It's very rare to find someone like this in today's world. May he be blessed and may we all take note. Whether we have Native blood or not, we are all relatives on this Earth.

  • What's with the dislikes? Did anybody who clicked dislike because you believed this was disrespectful? Just curious. I'd like to hear your input.

  • I love you Robert< 33

  • amazing

  • i love this pure honesty.......real.........respect im feelin this power

  • And they're right. We whites in the pursuit of wealth, forget about the fact that we are not alone. And they remember their own traditions.

  • Most natives hate whites an now they are workin with them WOW how fake

    A red from me

  • MAGNIFICENT! PROFOUND. SIMPLY TRUTH. THE INFINTESIMAL IS INFINITE.

  • Maravilhoso esta musica do grande Robert Mirabal

  • Music is simply gorgeous, wonderful clip, now I want to have to see everything with my own eyes that such beauty is bad very very far away from me.

  • my heart beating faster to my culture...dances like these in my summers were so awaking to the senses...earth...drums...breath...smells...connection...heated sun...enriching trance...makes me ask myself why the heck do I live in a city? Maybe this is the internal longing to head back home as if the earths music is speaking to me again...this video is a fine piece of Art...inventive...thank you for sharing :)

  • I am soo glad to see one that has kept to the native traditions as much as possible. Mirabal makes me feel proud. This was so beautiful!

  • A Facebook friend sent this and other videos of Mirabal to me. I am in Tennessee, USA. She is in Russia!

She introduced "EE-You-Oo" first. Beautiful. You, too, J. Tesh

  • Robert Mirabal's music is wonderful ... I agree with the previous comments , I too feel transported whilst watching this video , such a deeply spiritual feeling , so beautiful ... I love it!

  • This music reminds me of my husband and his family, also ancestors of Native Americans and does take me back in time. fosterfields

  • Some my ancestors are Native American but I don't know what tribe so when I listen to this music it relaxes me but also makes me frustrated because I don't know who they were or where they came from. But I'm trying to keep my heritage alive the best I can to honor my people.

  • @MasterTurok96 You're probably a mix, i have Cherokee, Blackfoot, and Lakotah, my lil bro also has those but his father was pure Ojibwa (i think i spelled right, idk) but i wouldn't worry about it. You can ask the great spirit or listen to any native music you can find and the ones that you feel have more connection to, the tribe it is from is probably a part of you no matter how far down the line. I'm also English,French,Irish, and i am Romani (i have some gypsy in me) all over the place i am.

  • @MasterTurok96 you could also just go to ancestry.com or get a DNA if it's more of a 'NEED TO KNOW!" type thing which i would totally understand, there are things about i family i don't know about and you obviously feel you need to find out who you are. Good luck, i hope you find what you're looking for.

  • esplendida musica!, les felicito por la inspiracion y por todo lo q transmite a los demas! Les deseo mucho mas, esta musica merece hacerse conocida, mas y masssssss!!!!......... unos pensamientos de Rumania....

  • Simply beautiful in every way thank you for sharing,

    blessings of love and peace

    Claire

  • I love this video, Great video,Robert mirabal is Amazing!!

  • SIMPLY HEALING!!!!

  • I am not Native American but I love the people and all they have contributed. I have never had an artist or a song touch me as this one has. I sat here watching and listening with tears running down my face. An exceptionally beautiful song..thank you for sharing it with us!

  • She called a native american an apple when he was white on the inside....she had no idea what to call me...being blonde and blue eyed...a corn head. Yet she tried to to teach me the ways in secrecy of my true self....the natives.....thankyou for this beautiful song.

  • I love this song and find this artist extremely real...I have been welcomed to the sweat huts of my ancesters. I am too white to be Indian, to Indian to be white. My granny was born in love countey OK, before it was once again taken by the Federal goverment. I have recently learned of my relations to the White and Hembre family...which I cna prove...but I grew up unwanted except by my granny who taught me some of the old way. I feel lost....but in this song. I feel found.

  • nice

  • indians are real americans

  • Aho, Wado. !!!!!

  • @beaux1969

    whats mean?

  • Too bad the Heart Beat of the Big Drums were cut out or muted. The drummer in the video was really gettin in to it.

  • @birdman1652 Yes, I agree with you......the big drums were muffled in this video. This vid would have been even better if you could hear the drums. The drummer was really getting into it.

  • @cassielou318 The drummer is Reynaldo Lujan ( Rare Tribal Mob),he is AMAZING..Check out Robert Mirabal's Music from a Painted Cave, you will love it I think!! This video is very ethereal, you feel like you have gone to another time and place

    cozz

  • @cozz this song is on John Tesh's "One World" Album.

  • @mavericksc0703 Have you ever listened to the other songs of this album? Is it native american [flute] like music?

  • @cozz Nope the music on John Tesh's "One World" Album is a mixture of groups from all over the world.

  • @mavericksc0703 Ahhh. :( So there is no way of getting it otherwise? :( Long live Youtube...

  • I am no Navajo but a half Cherokee, part Blackfoot and i heard i had some Dakota. I absolutely love all Native American music, Robbie Robertson being my favorite and since this guy is the second singer i have heard being on CD he is now my second favorite. And he is so beautiful.

  • I cant thank you enough for this post. I start my days with this and Sacred Spirit's version of Yeha Noha. I have also volunteered to help this nation's 1st residents find work in these troubled times, which in no way compares to the atrocities these wonderful spiritual beings have endured. Thanks again.
