I´m seriously sick and tired of people uploading videos with too loud or misleading music. I know I don´t have to watch but I come across it all the time and it is annoying...
Oh but wait! Surely the resourceful Japanese can tame this Daemon!!......... Or not. I understand some are seeking to build a new reactor on THE SAN ANDREAS FAULT. Genius I tell ya, Pure Genius!
Or, we could learn from our mistakes and figure out how to do use nuclear power safely. Some people said that cars were too dangerous at first, where would we be if that opinion had ruled out learning? Nothing on earth is 100% safe, and we need electricity, and we'll need even more as time goes by. Planes were said to be too dangerous, compare planes from the first 30 years of aviation with what we've got today. Where would we be without planes? And on and on and on. C'mon think about it. Think!
NUCLEAR POWER IS CLEAN, UNTIL THERE IS A PROBLEM. ONCE A REACTOR IS BUILT IT IS THERE FOREVER. WE DO NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO PUT THE ATOM BACK TOGETHER AFTER WE SPLIT THE DAMN THING....IT IS TOO BIG AND WE ARE IN OVER OUR HEADS ALREADY.
NO MORE NUCLEAR REACTORS & NO MORE NUCLEAR BOMBS.
WE CAN NOT UNDO THIS SORT OF CATASTROPHE...
IT HAS TO BE PREVENTED. PEOPLE OF PLANET EARTH WAKE UP !!!!!
@Celizamite Actually we have the ability to put the atom back. Its called the H-bomb. Sure you will only create Helium (not Uranium or Plutonium) but why would you want to put 2 atoms together to make them radioactive again?
To make long story short. Earth would be far more toxic if people still used coal powerplants instead of atom power.
@F3udF1st tell me how many nuclear reactors have kill people, i can only think of 2, Chernobyl and the the 1 in japan, which was caused by earthquakes and tsunamis
@bass3411 Yeah but it affects so many peoples lives, they're in constant worry of developing some horrible illness, this goes for innocent people all over the world, in the winds direction. And leaving so much space inhospitable, for such a long time..
No matter how safe it is, people will make mistakes. (ie, not that safe then)
Maybe if they use (only?) isotopes with very short half life, that would work.. But I'm not a nuclear physicist so, what do I know.
@Celizamite BULLSHIT - reactor exploded cause of HUMAN MISTAKE. Russian scientists are just too stupid. See how many russian satellites fall back to Earth.
@Celizamite I agree nuclear power is not clean. The waste is around for thousands of years. Tell me how when the english language changes how will we warn the countless generations of the danger of nuclear waste. Providing the human race lives that long.Sadly i think we will not.
this was negligence, we need to invest in nuclear and eventually we will get nuclear fusion. The technology today is quite different to what it was then and regulations are much stricter now.
@Celizamite Actually nuclear energy is very important and in recent years has shown little to no negative effects since nuclear reactors are no longer being designed to produce a plutonium bi-product. The reason it was used to produce this in the past was for military purposes alone and we, of course, took advantage of the energy provided in the process. Now nuclear reactors are used to make many new elements which shape the future of technology (the elimination of oil use included).
@FR3AKinEviL There are other ways to produce energy much cleaner then this by far. Research tesla. There are a ton of options for energy production But its all about money no one cares about who gets hurt in the process. I just dont know how you can even say what your saying after the most recent Japan incident.
@Celizamite Ok detective, what is your alternative energy source? Stop using nuclear energy while we are already in an energy crisis and running out of petroleum? How are we in over our heads? There is a nuclear power plant here in Michigan. And guess what, its been going since 1963. Its had 2 issues, which were resolved without radiation being released. And the plant is still safely operational. It is a resource, it would be silly not to utilize it. So if you want to help, find an alternative.
@Celizamite Hope there will be changes in 2012, soon, The People, not humans, but there is poeple who have tools to clean up, with WE humans, have no technology to do..
@Celizamite Fucking shut up all caps idiot... you clearly don't understand the benefits of nuclear power... yeah there is risks, but there are risks with everything.
The techs involved were not nuclear reactor techs, only trained in electrical generation. They were to test these electrical back up generators. A positive void coefficient reactor is very unstable at low power. So, it was a fatal mistake to disconnect all the safety devices and then run the reactor down to 2% load. So far the documentaries on Chernobyl all seem to point to a test that was to be done that day. They were testing both power output and the strength of the reactor itself. The carbon control rods were raised, accelerating the reactor's output. It was alleged that an overzealous supervisor was trying to set new benchmarks. Sort of like a kid given a new car and "opening the throttle to see what it can do." Unfortunately for everyone in the radius, it had tragic consequences
This music is terrible for this video. I agree with KramerPacer83, why don't we just play metal at your funeral?
And this was a terrible event, that could've been prevented. The radio activity, reached all the way past Gomel, Belarus, where I'm from. They evacuated most of the city. Sent the children in groups to part of Russia. They tested them for radio-active exposure. Most of them had already had contact with it. Terrible, terrible event.
what would be nice is some facts, instead i am flung back into the disco area and uploader if we wanted that we would simply get into the old time machine in my basement and haul ass back to 1980:=(
N then they continue to operate this plant for the next 15yrs...Am I the only one who feels that,if these workers didnt know shit about anything they shuldve known their level of skill and ability not to mention THE LEVEL OF DISTRUCTION that 1 tiny mishap would cause..If u light a match will next to a gas pump n u blowup..u deserved it cuz u knew u had a 50/50 chance of that happening n u did it neway..
Wtf..the workers involved in this entire test run put their lives in the hands of 2 JUNIOR Scientists.Y the fuck would they be so nieve to believe that they knew what they were doing as if they didnt know the epic cotastrophe that culd b cause if shit wasnt done EXACTLY RIGHT & yet no 1 cared to say.."HEY, WE R NOT SMART ENUF TO RUN THIS TEST THAT CULD KILL US ALL WITH 1 TINY FUCK UP"INSTEAD EVERYONES LIKE,NO BIG DEAL...WTFF?
@KramerPacer83 ...This song is actually "Russian" appropriate and approved for devistation background music. The words are that of devastation and dispare only they are in Russian so unless you speak Russian u most probably would think..WHAT THE FUCK>???..But then again the shit that was caused for this music to exsist as a background song has alot asking...WHAT THE FUCK?? My opinion..Russians are not wise enuf to make choices that are important and necessary...cause this is the outcome.....
@giessbert1 ...Sorry.....Calling chernobyl "Russian" & not "Ukrainian" wasnt to say one was or wasnt better or worse than the other...I believe calling Chernobyl "Russian" was due to the way alot were taught and told of Chernobyl.....Its was always the Russians this and the Russians that therfor i believed that calling Chernobyl Russian was not an insult..now I know it is....sorry for being ignorant and i meant no disrespect to Russians or Ukarainians..& I knew it was German...lol
There was no mushroom cloud at Chernobyl and no destruction to surrounding towns but the high level of radiation meant everyone had to be evacuated, this lead to decay.
chernobyl was caused by the workers in the control room being drunk and removing the led control rods to see how hot they could run the reactor and couldent replace them in time and it over heated and went boom.
@Scott14147 Dumbass, it was caused by a temp drop while conducting auxillery power tests using the steam powered generators to see if they would sustain the power long enough for the Diesel powered generators to achieve the required rotation speed to sustain the core.....GOD >:3
@JaahJeMoeder I don't think I'm overreacting. The only other option I can see for our survival is that we start to see through our greed and hatred enough to change the path we're on. But that's just what I see.
I don't deserve your comment. There's so much hate on the net. Maybe I'm wasting my time posting comments on youtube.
Better for us to live without energy (as humans have for most of out time on this planet) than this. Nuclear waste from power plants is dangerous for hundreds of thousands of years. How to warn our descendants to stay out of these contaminated zones? They wouldn't speak our language and might not know about radioactivity. And what about the wildlife?
But no worry, global warming will wipe us out first if we don't change our ways soon, and the effects would last for a similar timespan.
I am so sorry for all people thath died, and are ingured for the future. but this is whath will happend when you use nuklear. it will not be the last time...........................
Qute sure thet we will destroy our selvs yust for money.
ITS FUNNY TO ME THAT SO MANY ARE AGAINST THIS KINDA POWER SOURCE WHEN YET OUR US NAVY USES NUCLEAR ENERGY FOR THERE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS AND OTHER SHIPS I JUST FIGURE IF IT IS SO BAD TO HAVE OR IF IT IS SO DEADLY THAN WHY DOES OUR OWN US NAVY USE IT SO MUCH
@thebearjewkiller1976 The same reason as why most developed countries use it for their industries and homes: It's relatively cheap, clean and efficient. That's not to say that it's harmless, though.
@swevixeh1 very true and its to bad we dont use it more here in the united states for electrical and for many other fuels witch we are being over taxed on and being over charged on but its not harmless but then again gasoline is flammable and explosive and then you have all these batteries in cars and personal use witch are expensive to recycle and even more costly to properly throw away everyone is big on electrical cars well lol its only going to be thrown away and will cause more pollution
@thebearjewkiller1976 Exactly. Mankind is killing itself. I'm more and more beginning to realize just how much we are ruining the world that our ancestors have created through blood, sweat and tears over hundreds of millennia, and that we are going to pass on to generations to come. Will earth become nothing but a radioactive/acid wasteland? As inconvenient as it is, we need to reduce our consumption and world population.
@swevixeh1 you are very smart and its to bad we have no one in congress that has half your brains and knowledge if they did this place would be a lot better place to live and much further along than it is in its technology and thinking thanks and its good to know people like you are still around it gives me hope
@swevixeh1 Well nuclear power actually has the means to the fuel the world. But sadly people like you, see videos like this and think its this horrible thing.
Nuclear power is clean and efficient. The mistakes that could have been prevented in Chernobyl are too many to list. And a event like it, could NEVER happen in Europe or North America.
I think its funny that people condemn nuclear power but live less than a few miles away from coal powered plant.
@D0Bone Actually there are like 50 to 100 people who refused to leave their houses and still live in chernobyl (mostly elderly), while hundreds of workers were visiting daily the contaminated zone until the year 2000 when the power plant was shut down.
@gronki1 It seems as though you're playing a bit loose with the facts. There were originally over 1500 people who refused to leave the area. Within 5 years half were dead, within 10 years almost all 1500 had died. 20 years later only a few of the original 1500 were still alive the remaining 50 or so are either descendants of the original 1500 or squatters and scoff laws who moved to the area. Furthermore the people who live their know the area well and know where they can and can't go.
but war never bring any good thing but civilian died, contries destroyed, good soider died and the worse is they died not for their country. Now, Iran, how many American patriotic men will die for nothing in this war? Im Vietnamese, we love peace and we never believe that war will make our worlds better by any reason.
@badazzboxer I dont hate American, but i think most of them dont care about anyone but themself, they let their government make war in other countries just because its not their concern, they belive that their government make war for some good reasons: take down terrorist, freedom for other countries etc...
@MassiveJetGrind and where did you get that data? The technology today is much more advanced specially in japan + a bunch of 1st world countries giving help including U.S. that plant is already cleared.
@BRAIN063 Well, our dumb government is no different than the Nazi's, and yes a lot of Americans are blind, ignorant, and mentally stupid, basically like Helen.Keller...What can the rest learn from her, and her story? LEARN!! AND OPEN THEIR FUCKIN' MINDS!!!!
Fukushima is a million times worse than this. The media isn't covering it at all, and what they do release is all lies and propaganda. From what I know, those fuel rods are still spewing radiation. The whole world is getting hammered by it. They recently claimed that the reactors are now stable, but we know how they like to lie. Doesn't matter. The damage has been done. Millions around the world are going to start feeling the effects of it in about 20-30 years. Maybe sooner.
@MassiveJetGrind that's true, except that radiation was released into water rather than into air. media underestimate the fukushima disaster. when I read the article about it on wikipedia I was suprised how serious the damage and radioactivity release was, because on tv news they were saying all the time something like "ok, there was an explosion or maybe two, but everything is ok and under control".
@gronki1 Yes, the government keeps the truth from us. The radiation was released into both the air and ocean. There's a very large amount in the atmosphere now. The whole world has it now. They won't tell you those kinds of things. It reached the west coast of the U.S. shortly after the explosions. It took only a few weeks.
@AliceChan5991 It's not my wish to scare you, buddy, but it's much worse than you think. 20-30 years from now, millions are going to begin to die all around the world from this event. The plutonium accumulates in the bones over time, and becomes leukemia. The radiation is already in our water and food chain. Everyone is getting it now. The best you can do is stay healthy and strong. Eat right and take care of yourself, and hopefully you'll be strong enough to make it through.

The words are that of devastation and dispare only they are in Russian so unless you speak Russian u most probably would think..WHAT THE FUCK>???..But then again the shit that was caused for this music to exsist as a background song has alot asking...WHAT THE FUCK?? My opinion..Russians are not wise enuf to make choices that are important and necessary...cause this is the outcome.....
trayceerae13 3 weeks ago
@trayceerae13
The music is not the best choice but thats a matter of taste and the lyrics are in german and are indeed suitably chosen to the topic...
belief me its my native language.
...oh and I guess by the uploaders nickname and the music he's a turkish-german guy...
How could you think it's russian? because of the vid?
F.Y.I. Chernobyl is not in russia!
The chernobyl nuclear power plant is in the ukraine.
giessbert1 3 weeks ago

Mrjamestw 3 weeks ago
chernobyl was caused by the workers in the control room being drunk and removing the led control rods to see how hot they could run the reactor and couldent replace them in time and it over heated and went boom.
Scott14147 3 weeks ago 9
@Scott14147 there is no lead in a control rod.

But no worry, global warming will wipe us out first if we don't change our ways soon, and the effects would last for a similar timespan.
rain1956 1 month ago
@rain1956 Yeah im also afraid nobody will tell our descendants what radioactivity is, and that is dangerous to be around.
Stop overreacting! Or just kill yourself, that would also be better for the environment.

I am so sorry for all people thath died, and are ingured for the future. but this is whath will happend when you use nuklear. it will not be the last time...........................

ITS FUNNY TO ME THAT SO MANY ARE AGAINST THIS KINDA POWER SOURCE WHEN YET OUR US NAVY USES NUCLEAR ENERGY FOR THERE AIRCRAFT CARRIERS AND OTHER SHIPS I JUST FIGURE IF IT IS SO BAD TO HAVE OR IF IT IS SO DEADLY THAN WHY DOES OUR OWN US NAVY USE IT SO MUCH
thebearjewkiller1976 1 month ago
@thebearjewkiller1976 The same reason as why most developed countries use it for their industries and homes: It's relatively cheap, clean and efficient. That's not to say that it's harmless, though.
swevixeh1 3 weeks ago
@swevixeh1 very true and its to bad we dont use it more here in the united states for electrical and for many other fuels witch we are being over taxed on and being over charged on but its not harmless but then again gasoline is flammable and explosive and then you have all these batteries in cars and personal use witch are expensive to recycle and even more costly to properly throw away everyone is big on electrical cars well lol its only going to be thrown away and will cause more pollution
thebearjewkiller1976 3 weeks ago
@thebearjewkiller1976 Exactly. Mankind is killing itself. I'm more and more beginning to realize just how much we are ruining the world that our ancestors have created through blood, sweat and tears over hundreds of millennia, and that we are going to pass on to generations to come. Will earth become nothing but a radioactive/acid wasteland? As inconvenient as it is, we need to reduce our consumption and world population.
swevixeh1 3 weeks ago
@swevixeh1 you are very smart and its to bad we have no one in congress that has half your brains and knowledge if they did this place would be a lot better place to live and much further along than it is in its technology and thinking thanks and its good to know people like you are still around it gives me hope
thebearjewkiller1976 3 weeks ago
@swevixeh1 Well nuclear power actually has the means to the fuel the world. But sadly people like you, see videos like this and think its this horrible thing.
Nuclear power is clean and efficient. The mistakes that could have been prevented in Chernobyl are too many to list. And a event like it, could NEVER happen in Europe or North America.
I think its funny that people condemn nuclear power but live less than a few miles away from coal powered plant.

D0Bone 1 month ago
@D0Bone Actually there are like 50 to 100 people who refused to leave their houses and still live in chernobyl (mostly elderly), while hundreds of workers were visiting daily the contaminated zone until the year 2000 when the power plant was shut down.
gronki1 1 month ago

Im Vietnamese, we love peace and we never believe that war will make our worlds better by any reason.
ckd5098 1 month ago
@badazzboxer I dont hate American, but i think most of them dont care about anyone but themself, they let their government make war in other countries just because its not their concern, they belive that their government make war for some good reasons: take down terrorist, freedom for other countries etc...

MassiveJetGrind 1 month ago
@MassiveJetGrind that's true, except that radiation was released into water rather than into air. media underestimate the fukushima disaster. when I read the article about it on wikipedia I was suprised how serious the damage and radioactivity release was, because on tv news they were saying all the time something like "ok, there was an explosion or maybe two, but everything is ok and under control".
gronki1 1 month ago
@gronki1 Yes, the government keeps the truth from us. The radiation was released into both the air and ocean. There's a very large amount in the atmosphere now. The whole world has it now. They won't tell you those kinds of things. It reached the west coast of the U.S. shortly after the explosions. It took only a few weeks.
MassiveJetGrind 1 month ago
@MassiveJetGrind But the levels of radiations are so small that we don't really feel the effects in the U.S.
AliceChan5991 1 month ago
@AliceChan5991 It's not my wish to scare you, buddy, but it's much worse than you think. 20-30 years from now, millions are going to begin to die all around the world from this event. The plutonium accumulates in the bones over time, and becomes leukemia. The radiation is already in our water and food chain. Everyone is getting it now. The best you can do is stay healthy and strong. Eat right and take care of yourself, and hopefully you'll be strong enough to make it through.
