i think we did three times as well. 1st and second scenario then we were sent across for the 3rd but they said you couldn't do any fighting so we retreated, and participated in the little round top battle.
That creek sucked. Of course the Yanks got a bridge on day 2, the sutlers, and the battlefield only 200 yards away. They got everything. But it was an awesome show. 7th Tennessee Co. A!
yep me to...on fridays battle i think it was...we charged threw it...i thought i could jump it...but i landed in the middle of it soaking my ony pair of socks...
i know how you feel....and the constant on and off rain was terrible....our unit was told no canvas so we didnt bring any...we get there...everyone from the unit we fell in with had a tent...so the first night i woke up in a puddle with half my powder in with it...but it was a fun event.
