This song is definitely one of my favorite technical drum lines - the timing, syncopation, and rolls are all incredible and difficult. Part 2 is definitely the hardest.... keep it up!!

This is the second oldest video that I have on Youtube and I did it before I knew ANYTHING about recording. It was an old video camera and the hum is from its 1/8" miniplug input going wonky. I actually did redo this song with narration a few months ago. It's a much better sounding performance. If you search for that, you might be more impressed.

After researching the song 'Temples of Syrinx', I found that the song was based on the writings of a woman named Ayn Rand, alleged to be a mistress to Philippe Rothschild. (aka Illuminati)

In 1957, Ayn Rand wrote a book called 'ATLAS SHRUGGED' which describes how the Illuminati will gain control of the planet by destroying the world economic system, then swooping in to pick up the pieces.

Also read 'Behold a Pale Horse' by William Cooper (1991) Cooper was an ex CIA who exposed the same plan.

Why are they always people to ask if a (progressive) group is satanic? I've seen a Dream Theater's video whose comments were only about discussing the "religiousness" of the band.

From an European point of vue, such a question just seems silly; we don't care in which "god" a band believes!
